OT: There is a bikini car wash going on at 145th and Aurora worth a detour

How far away is that from the 7-11 on Aurora?
    roughly 70 blocks ... HTH

Other than USC, the Pac-12 members have won 2 half-championships in my lifetime.

It's amazing that the conference gets as much respect as it does.

Cool stat. Unless you're older than dirt Race Bannon, that's a similar pattern to any other conference not named SEC. The blue bloods win NATTYS and the rest don't.
    ACC: Florida State and Miami
Big Ten: Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State
    XII: Texas and Oklahoma

All of these conferences are equal to or better than the Pac-12 when it comes to what matters.
Miami won their titles as an independent and in the Big Least. FSU you're correct about.

N won theirs in the Big 8 and 12. They've been an 8-4 or 9-3 team since they joined the Big 14.

The Big Ten was worthless in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Remember State Penn joined in '93. I think the conference may have won one between '68 and '97. Phlembechler, Woody Hayes, John Cooper, Gary Moeller et. al were overrated.

There were no championships before the playoff. Big 10 had the only one.

I like to pretend a four team playoff is different than a two team playoff. I do that.

If you want to look at it that way, make sure you take CU out of the PAC 12.

Of course. They won their half a national championship 20 years before they joined the Pac 12.
