Did I tell you I hate Bill Gerberding and Barbara Hedges?

I wouldn't piss on either one of them to put them out if they were on fire.

So what's the deal on the SEC?

If I wasn't so lazy I would look up what conferences have had NC winners in the last 30 years.

I didn't realize Michigan only had one recent NC.

Prior to their .5 in 1997, their next most recent natty was in 1948. Race- did that team pass the look test?

Curiosity overtook lazy. I went to one website, and it listed champs and split years. No idea how accurate the source info was so fuck off. I gave championships to the teams CURRENT conference (which really hurt the Big 12 and helped the Big 10 - Nebraska). I started in 1985 because 30 years and fuck BYU.

    SEC

    4 Alabama
    3 Florida
    1.5 LSU
    1 Tennessee
1 Auburn (pump my meth DUCK!)

    Total: 10.5

    ACC

    3.5 Miami
    3 Florida State
.5 Georgia Tech (this actually happened?)

    Total: 7

    Big 10

    3 Nebraska
2 Ohio State (pump my meth DUCK!)
1 Penn State (pedo bear cheers)
    .5 Michigan

    Total: 6.5

    Big 12

    2 Oklahoma
    1 Texas

    Total: 3

    Pac 12 (LOL)

    1.5 USC (fuck vacating championships)
    .5 UW
    .5 Colorado

    Total: 2.5

    Independent:

    1 Notre Dame

    Total: 1

What my in depth research shows:

    SECSECSECSECSECSECSECSEC

    ACC has been very good.

Big 10 and Big 12 both needed Nebraska. Whoever you give them to, looks really solid, the other conference blows.

Pac-12 Total fucking dreck. Barely ahead of "Independents"...and if I went back one more year to the fucking Mormons, it would basically be tied. Jesus fuckall. This is why a women's tennis executive leads us. Nobody who matters would want to. But we win at swimming and track and other shit nobody gives a fuck about. Fuck off.

Anyone who upvoted a post that contained the phrase "the ACC has been very good" should just DIAFF.

Sawye should get a small pox blanket for even writing it.

OT: There is a bikini car wash going on at 145th and Aurora worth a detour

How far away is that from the 7-11 on Aurora?
    roughly 70 blocks ... HTH

Other than USC, the Pac-12 members have won 2 half-championships in my lifetime.

It's amazing that the conference gets as much respect as it does.

Cool stat. Unless you're older than dirt Race Bannon, that's a similar pattern to any other conference not named SEC. The blue bloods win NATTYS and the rest don't.
    ACC: Florida State and Miami
Big Ten: Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State
    XII: Texas and Oklahoma

All of these conferences are equal to or better than the Pac-12 when it comes to what matters.
Miami won their titles as an independent and in the Big Least. FSU you're correct about.

N won theirs in the Big 8 and 12. They've been an 8-4 or 9-3 team since they joined the Big 14.

The Big Ten was worthless in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Remember State Penn joined in '93. I think the conference may have won one between '68 and '97. Phlembechler, Woody Hayes, John Cooper, Gary Moeller et. al were overrated.

There were no championships before the playoff. Big 10 had the only one.

I like to pretend a four team playoff is different than a two team playoff. I do that.

If you want to look at it that way, make sure you take CU out of the PAC 12.

Of course. They won their half a national championship 20 years before they joined the Pac 12.
