Agree. Definitely needs to be pulled 4 minutes earlier.

    I own a BBQ

Nice sear on the steak ... but needed to be pulled at least 2 minutes earlier. Negative points for it not being a T-Bone.

Nice touch with the sea salt on the potato ... big minus marks though for dressing up the insides though ... needs some more cream for sure.

Steak is best served thin, fatless, tender yet a bit on the overcooked side with good spices and steak sauce.

Please expand ... focusing in on the fatless, good spices, and steak sauce side. What spices? What sauces?

Honestly I was floored when Tequilla even entertained the conversation after steak sauce was mentioned with him having spent time in Texas. The only thing you put on a steak besides a rub is a red wine/mushroom sauce or bernaise with lump crab meat. GTFO with anything else.

That was my point ... was giving some rope so that he could hang himself.

If a steak is rubbed right with some spices before hand, there's absolutely no need to add a sauce unless you like abundance. And if you add the wrong sauce, you can absolutely destroy the steak.

You can never go wrong with a red wine type of sauce or Bearnaise ... of which there are many different kinds. My personal favorite sauce though is a sauce that my Dad makes that is on the creamy side with some dijon mustard tones to it. Works very well.

Tequilla cooking tip of the day: if you are cooking a giant prime rib for 6-8+ people, before adding your spice rub to the outside, add a light coat of olive oil to the outside of the meat. You can thank me later for that.

Tequilla bonus cooking tip of the day: On the same prime rib, make sure that you add a combination of fennel seeds and rosemary to your rub. Talk about a flavor explosion.

Need a little clean-up on the side of that plate ... it's the kind of plate that Seven would appreciate.

Asparagus is always a great complement to steaks. Prefer me some mashed or full bakers ... but variety is the life of abundance. I'd recommend including some sauteed red onions in with the mushrooms. Steak looks like a beautiful medium rare.

Baked potatoes are for cavemen, Albanians who don't know food can't be altered from it's natural state and fat women who load them up with cheese and bacon and claim they are a healthy alternative.

This is the exact correct meal: Porterhouse MR, HASHBROWNS FOR FUCK'S SAKE (have you never seen civilization!?), creamed spinach and some other shit.

My personal choice is to turn baked potatoes into twice baked stuffed mashed potatoes.

Bacon and cheese is always a necessary element to turn potatoes into something that tastes good. The alternative is some kind of sauce or gravy. Either way, you're adding something to it.

If you know what you're doing, you can still make shit taste good without throwing in every single terrible option in over-abundance.

Steak looks awesome. Potatoes look good, find a way to get some garlic and rosemarry into those bitches, shrimp looks boring but i like idea. I've seen the tomato and onion thing but I don't get it. I'm not doctoring up a hamburger. and Fuck cooked vegetables, especially spinach. oh and I hate merlot, even if it drinks like a cab. Steak deserves a hearty beer(s) (stout, porter, IPA...) or a bourbon, cab or syrah, and a glass of water, cool but not ice cold. Nothing fucking else.

and I don't understand why people have to put creamy sauces on steaks. what are you hiding with that shit? did you forget to season? did you get a bad cut? did you do the greatest sin of all - over cook the meat? If so, you should be relegated to using ketchup. that way everyone knows you are terrible at cooking meat.
