The dawgman people are taking this rather well, other than sinceredawgFS who says this is all about CP's ego.
Kim hasn't started stirring the pot yet, though. I expect something along the lines of "This is why having a guy like Tosh on your staff is so important. He acts like a father figure to guys like Peters." -
-
You gotta give Petersen a chance to do it his way. We know we need change here. Dude brah is taking the week off. Pete is cleaning up his mess he left here
-
Under Sark, Peters was on track to graduate and was developing into a 1st round NFL draft pick playing on a team set to challenge for a Pac-12 title.CuntWaffle said:Lol this speaks volumes about
SarkPeterman.
Peterman comes along and he's flunked out of school (allegedly), kicked off the team and his draft stock is tumbling.
Kim called it.

His NFL career will look a lot like Pharms'.dhdawg said:

I'm trusting Peterman on this one but Fuck Me if Ross is a better cover corner than Peters. He played sloppy at times but had undeniable talent.
I'm still buying into the process and think that this will be a case study in the Peterman Process a few seasons from now. -
FYI guys, Peterman will be fired in two years according to this fucktard on Twatter:

Derrick Brown (best QB prospect on the team)

Fucktard Alert: I think we will be a Top 10 team circa the time @NWSportsNerd is thinking Peterman will be fired.MrsPetersen said:FYI guys, Peterman will be fired in two years according to this fucktard on Twatter:

Agreed, props to Tequilla, I bashed him pretty hard for wanting to run Peters, gotta admit it looks like he was probably right.CokeGreaterThanPepsi said:Gotta admit, @tequilla had this one dialed in!

Now we are just waiting for a really long post explaining why he thought Peters needed to be run with a bunch of other random insights mixed in.dnc said:

I didn't see this coming but after the way he was acting with Jaelen Strong in the ASU indicated to me that he wasn't going to change his ways. -
Strong owned Peters in that game.CuntWaffle said:

That white boy Spruce from CU was open all day too. But to be fair, he's a Wes Welker type who runs crisp routes and has a good head on his shoulders. -
It's getting to be like revenge of the UW sports nerds around here!MrsPetersen said:FYI guys, Peterman will be fired in two years according to this fucktard on Twatter:

Isn't part of college coaching teaching these young athletes how to behave? We are talking about a 20 year old kid here. He seems like he is passionate about the game and a bit of a hot head. He didn't hit a coach or teammate, he didn't assault anyone and he didn't break any laws. I think Peterson has a duty to coach and teach these kids - kicking them off the team teaches them nothing. I understand what Peterson is trying to do but he is being too strict and he is going to lose his team. -
It's really real now

This guy needs to submit his resume.monroecougdad said:Zoka1234 30 minutes ago

FREE PUB!!!
No monster long post ... Peter's was given multiple chances to figure it out but he thought he was bigger than the team. Cancerous enough Apple that he can slow down the necessary culture change.
If Ross embraces the change to CB then there isn't a significant step backwards. We now know why Ross is at CB. And let's be honest, Ross' only asset at WR is his speed - that asset plays best at CB. -
He made this decision for his newly born kid. He knew that he could get ready for the draft instead of having to play for a church school coach.
I'm glad he started thinking about his family. -
That's a pretty big assumption. Ross has a little experience at CB, but he's been practicing there for a week. To expect him to play at an All Conference level this season is a stretch.Tequilla said:FREE PUB!!!

I think it's crazy to think Ross is going to be anything close to the corner Peters was. He'll probably never be the corner Peters is, but certainly not right away.Tequilla said:FREE PUB!!!

Make no mistake, this might be a win for culture but it's a loss on the field. Peters wasn't Percy Harvin who was theoretically a weapon but never actually seemed to do anything, Peters was a fucking beast. The secondary is going to miss him badly.
The good news is TSIFO anyway, so making the move for the sake of culture makes sense. -

By next year I could see Ross being at the point where he isn't a significant step back. That's when it will count. -
Based on Lars confirmation I can now tell you with 100% certainty that Peters was indeed dismissed from the team.GrundleStiltzkin said:It's really real now

Based on what? It would be great if true, but Peters was projected by many to be a first round draft pick.CuntWaffle said:

Peters was actually good on the field. This move doesn't matter because TSIO and he was leaving after the season anyways, but Peters was always really good.ThomasFremont said:

This thread is worthless without @SportsBoner

No question that expecting Ross To play at Peters' level this week probably isn't going to happen.
That being said there are opportunities to cover what you are losing w Peters and Ross at least athletically will be able to help there.
One thing people need to not anchor to is that the positions that players have been playing at are necessarily their best positions. It's possible that RB is Shaq's best position. It's possible that Ross' best position may be as a DB.
