ASU doesn't if they dont at least do a cursory match for the ASU alumni. You'd think the alumni stays when the money is equal.
DeBoer doesnt have the alumni hearstring pull. Or the local yokle pull. Dilly has both.

Ultimstely, I think DeBoer wanted the prestige and built in advantages of Bama no matter the $$. Whatever UW offered, the Bama ego would match, so the money was essentially moot.

DeBoer would not have recruited as good as Judd, I think built-in talent at Bama was the reason

To Judds credit, he has somewhat woken the money up to be open to do real spending in NIL and he has worked really hard at that. Deboer would’ve done well at high school recruiting with a real budget, but Judd is definetly better on the fundraising front.

Your final paragraph above is certainly plausible. My main issue with you is that you've acted like it's a 100% certainty and anyone challenging your stance is a blithering dumbshit. Whereas in reality, UW never gave itself a chance to find out if we could keep him. There's a chance we could have.
