Kim is going to determine which posts are 'highly informative' and allow a head-in-the-clouds separate forum. It's a dumb idea and unintentionally hilarious. The moderators act like there is a huge problem with negativity when 99% of the time the criticism is warranted and interesting. I mean it's a bunch of dudes e-sitting around talking football, of course people are going to complain and criticize and shoot the shit. There's nothing wrong with that. Is there not an ignore function? Are your eyes being stapled Clockwork Orange style to view all of the posts?
It makes me laugh at loud that Kim is going to be running a 'higher level of discussion' forum. lmao.
Also, who is coachnews? The man posts with a massive air of superiority but never posts anything of substance. Just vague anecdotes that he is in the know...but entirely irrelevant topics like when Slick Rick was let go or about Direct TV stuff. It's good fora chuckle but he just seems miserable. In fact all of the moderators on Dawgman just seem like a bunch of miserable, unhappy dudes. I don't get it. -

I'll help the virgin out. CoachNews aka DawgNews is a guy named Bill Fleenor. He used to actually post under his real name. He wants everyone to think he is the greatest insider in the history of Husky football. He was on the Tyee Board for a time and might have even been the president. He claims to intimately know all the big boosters like Herb Mead, the Dempseys, the Gittingers, etc.Gladstone said:Obviously.
Bill's problem is that he never met a UW athletic director and coach he hated because he CRAVES being an insider. You can see that in his posts on Dawgman. He defended Barbara Hedges and her "Campaign for the Student Athlete". This plan basically was putting every sport ahead of football for serious funding. Softball, volleyball, etc. Bill back then used to try to put fires out on Dawgman when people would clamor for a new/remodeled stadium. He would say shit like, "As soon as we get done with facilities for track, baseball, cross country, golf, basket weaving, and dildo practice - then we can remodel the stadium." Once Babs was fired, he turned both barrels of his shotgun and said he hated her all along.
This practice of Fleenor's continued with Nueheisel, Todd Turner, and Tyrone.
Most recently, the night Sark was hired Fleenor flipped out in the Dawgman chat room. He said shit like, "I'm so mad right now. I'm finished with the UW. That's the last time a UW athletic director lies to me!" Of course, now that Fleens has played golf with Sark and rubbed his two inches of thunder up against Woodward's ball sack he thinks Woody and Sark are the greatest things to ever happen to UW. Once Sark gets fired, Fleenor will talk shit about Sark until the next head coach plays a round of golf with him.
Here, at Hardcore Husky, we don't play golf with people in the UW AD. We don't crave muckity-muck status among UW fans. We don't give two fucks about access. We want wins. If we don't get them, then fuck the people who are in charge of getting us wins at UW.
