I saw Happy Gilmore 2. Went in with zero expectations. The celebrity cameos, especially the legendary golfers, make it a worthwhile watch if you aren’t paying for it.
I'm pretty satisfied with the new season of Twisted Metal.
Maybe the only post apocalyptic show that I've actually enjoyed. The humor, 90's callbacks, now being forced to pull the weirdest characters out of the IP, it works well because it's more like Idiocracy with some decent action.
Swapping out the Scream lady as Raven and casting the Barry alopecia dude as Calypso were good choices as well.
Kind of disappointed that the success of the first season didn't motivate them to make a new iteration of the game. Twisted Metal Black is just offensive to your eyes on a PS5 and doesn't hold up well unless you're playing coop.
The new Naked Gun. It was alright. Some jokes went over my head. Like a bit about Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV show.
Happy Gilmore 2. It was alright. I am not a big fan of a zillion cameos as it is my opinion that over time they won’t hold up. Needed more Julie Bowen.
The Life of Chuck. A sappy little ballad with a couple interesting wrinkles of it, if that's your thing. Felt like there was care and effort in it, which is kind of a rarity these days.
Going to have to maybe stay off X for a week, even last week there were already movie critic accounts talking about Weapons and comparing it to other films and there going to be major retards farting out spoilers for engagement.
The pre stuff that comes out with movies now is one of the worst parts of new movie world. There was a kind of cool scene in the recent Jurassic World movie where the girl inflates the raft and the T-Rex disappears but they put it all over social media so I knew it was coming.
Of all the things I don't understand about the movie world now showing every single fucking thing in the trailers and lead up might be the top. Who isn't gonna see these movies but sees something in the trailer and decides they will? I get sad when I see stuff on social media of people showing trailers and teasers of classic movies and how fucking little was shown and how much better it was.
4 hour flight from Phoenix to Atlanta today. I watched Rocky IV and Force 10 From Navarone, a 1978 WWII flick with Harrison Ford, Robert Shaw (probably his final film), and Carl Weathers.

Watched MI 2 last night. I hope the next ones are better because MI 2 wasn’t good.
The first was at least enjoyable because of the mystery of figuring out who set up the team.
2073
Thought it was going to be some post apocalyptic movie. It was a hot turd sandwich. Stay away.
3 is WAY better than 2. It was the right level of over-the-top for a campy secret agent series. Phillip Seymour Hoffman is the villain and is awesome.
I think someone else has mentioned that 2 is the worst of them.
I find Hoffman to be extremely creepy so he’s always a villain in my mind.
Fucking vanilla
Haven’t even seen that movie and I think he’s creepy.

Wasn’t bad. Wasn’t the OG but solid mindless entertainment. Scottie is pretty funny and Jack threw down.
John Daly should have his own movie.

Accountant 2 and Rocky 3 on my flights today. I liked Accountant 2 a lot more than the original.
RIP Carl Weathers. Met him once, seemed like a good dude.

Same thing happened with Alien Romulus and the scene where she's floating through the ship avoiding the acid blood.

Chuck's life is more tragicomedy than ballad.
