I used to be all-in on the death penalty. Now, not so sure. Is that really more of a punishment versus being stuck in a cage the rest of your life? From what I've read, the death penalty isn't cheaper for the taxpayers.
200 plus people exonerated while on death row over Race’s adult life. Small price to pay. And that’s not to ignore those wrongfully executed over that same span.
Yes I am pro life for a Baby, not a murderer... the fact you don't understand the difference is shocking... but par for the course... the left as usual cares more about the criminals life than they do an innocent baby.
When you’ve had more than 200 people cleared of the crime while awaiting execution, you have to know that speeding executions will simply result in killing more people wrongfully. And we do know we have executed people wrongfully.
None of the presidential commutations were about prosecution or jury error. Pretty easy to statutorily change the evidence level in death penalty cases to no doubt versus reasonable doubt. The illegal alien that just burned an innocent American citizen to death should be dead within six months. When a dem who opposes the death penalty and supports releasing hardened criminals into the civilian environment when he/her says the following, you know they are lying. Why is Major Hasan still alive? We won World War II faster than he got convicted for offing 13 fellow soldiers and wounding 30 others. You think the dazzler going to say that prior error is at play in this one?

Today Biden announced that he had set aside the death sentences of 37 federal inmates who had been convicted by juries, sentenced by judges, upheld by appellate courts, all pursuant to statute passed by both houses of Congress. Here is the full text of Biden’s announcement:
I’ve dedicated my career to reducing violent crime and ensuring a fair and effective justice system.
Today, I am commuting the sentences of 37 of the 40 individuals on federal death row to life sentences without the possibility of parole. These commutations are consistent with the moratorium my Administration has imposed on federal executions, in cases other than terrorism and hate-motivated mass murder.
Make no mistake: I condemn these murderers, grieve for the victims of their despicable acts, and ache for all the families who have suffered unimaginable and irreparable loss.
But guided by my conscience and my experience as a public defender, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Vice President, and now President, I am more convinced than ever that we must stop the use of the death penalty at the federal level. In good conscience, I cannot stand back and let a new administration resume executions that I halted.
If some here realized life in prison isn’t remotely like getting away with murder, perhaps they would be willing to reduce the risk of wrongful executions to zero.

This happens when you and everyone you know is a criminal.

Costs 50-75K a year to house the killers in max security prison. How much is a bullet, gas, drugs or electricity?
You know that the costs aren't the physical killing. It's all the legal hoops crap, etc.
If there weren't 20 years of appeals with the cost of housing, a swift execution would save money
I don't think we? really want that or we'd have it
Some folks you could get a lot of support for offing
“Speed up executions!” cried the “pro-lifers”.
Fuck off retard

GoDuckies says killing those who are not guilty doesn’t offend God in the slightest.
Not guilty?

One of the few times I agree with Biden, although for completely different reasons.
I’d commute Root and the other two as well. Saying Roof’s victims are more important (because reasons) than the other people killed is stupid.
”Kill innocent babies, but let actual murderers live!”
Nice value system, Ace.
I say keep them all alive because, unlike you, I’m consistent.

The 3 he didn't commute sentences for have dirt on the Bidens.

H has no problem with the risk of loosing killers and rapists on the street
Fuck off
Sounds like Race wants to expand the death penalty. And faster, damnit!
