Texas, Ohio State, Georgia, and Tennessee all are spending money on players. Three of the four are spending more than Oregon for sure. Tennessee is probably close. Every title from here on out will be bought. It will no longer be buying or not buying, but buying the right players. Play the game or “lose the right way”. Your choice.
You have the resources, it’s just that your resources are computer nerds. Sorry not sorry.
I don't have a problem with Uncle Phil playing the game by the rules as they currently exist. If he wants to buy a Natty then so be it.
The only asterisk I'd put on the impending Oregon Natty, is that the 2010 near Natty would have been more impressive- i.e., doing w/o TRADITION, LOCATION and MONEY, but with a bunch of 3 stars and a revolutionary, disruptor type head coach.
If Oregon ends going 16 and 0, beating OSU twice, Penn State, Texas and whoever else they meet in the final that will be one of the more impressive NC's ever. A feat that the hairlip never even came close to obtaining.
I would be very incredibly impressive based on being the FIRST to win the 12 team format.
But if it's gonna happen, 2024 is the year to do it. Day, Sark, and Franklin all Big Game, Shrivel Dick losers. Saban is retired and DeBoer is out. Kirby Smart has a wounded QB.
I doubt with or w/o Uncle Phil bankroll the that the stars will ever be this aligned.
Chip should have beat Auburn but he was too stubborn with the run in the first half. All of the things you guys like to trash Dan for, going for it on 4th down instead of kicking the FG, Chip did in that game repeatedly.

Picking #1 seed and undefeated team to win it

ruin the sport and buy a national championship
awesome
Cry like a bitch about Oregon as if they're the only team spending money on players.

The Mariners have been running this scam for 25 years
Can't compete can't spend money maybe next year and on and on. Seattle fans seem to enjoy it
Stockholm (poulsbo?) syndrome
SEC! SEC! Have been buying titles the right way for years.
How was UW able to win last year if Oregon was buying a National Championship?
We bought the right QB with an (alleged) speech impediment.

Don't sleep on Gunner
The stars are aligned for Oregon? Explains why they have by far the toughest road to the Championship than any other team.

it’s going to be the same coaches next year.

What a great era in which to be a mediocre HC with deep pockets!
Chip 1.0 was a legend compared to the fucksticks.
They ruined the sport too.
