Texas, Ohio State, Georgia, and Tennessee all are spending money on players. Three of the four are spending more than Oregon for sure. Tennessee is probably close. Every title from here on out will be bought. It will no longer be buying or not buying, but buying the right players. Play the game or “lose the right way”. Your choice.

I don't have a problem with Uncle Phil playing the game by the rules as they currently exist. If he wants to buy a Natty then so be it.
The only asterisk I'd put on the impending Oregon Natty, is that the 2010 near Natty would have been more impressive- i.e., doing w/o TRADITION, LOCATION and MONEY, but with a bunch of 3 stars and a revolutionary, disruptor type head coach.
