“Don’t take it for granted,” he said. “I’ve got four left, four or five games left. Just putting that into perspective in their minds. If you don’t have nothin’ to play for, play for the seniors. Play for the W on your chest. Play for yourself as well. Play for the team.”

Who is Becky London?
Fabiculanan
I feel bad for Becky, Bruener, and Tuputala. Other than Asa, the guys who jumped ship for money are in much better situations. Shitty sendoff for them.
tuputala sucks. I boo the kids
He was overrated last year and is good this year
Bruener is pure DWAG and is exactly where he wants to be.
I like bruener and I appreciate him sticking around, but he looks better because the rest of UW’s LBs are trash. Most of his tackles are four or five yards downfield.
He’s a poor man’s Cody Barton.
UW needs to find some studs to play linebacker — guys with Bruener’s grit but with more speed and quicker decision making.
Tuputala had two brutal missed tackles on third downs on the winning drive for Indiana after we cut it to 17-14.
Get either of those and we are positioned to take the lead on our next drive.
Actually they weren’t so much missed tackles as they were getting driven 4-5 yards by the RB after initial contact to get the first down.
Nothing UW does indicates toughness. This team is soft as a down-filled pillow. Both lines suck. No one can stay healthy. When the fourth quarter comes along, UW has nothing left.
Weak sauce coaches make a weak sauce team. UW is an embarrassment.
The sad truth is the senior guys who stayed are basically just guys who maybe had lateral offers to go elsewhere at best. I got back and forth on my feelings on the guys who left. It's also hard when you don't know what the actual NIL payments are for guys. Almost all but Muhammad are in situations that are dangerously close to being about as successful as had most just stayed in Seattle, and Muhammad was always a mercenary so whatever, though if he was a dude he would have just gone to the NFL.
UW is in a bad place where they're not strong up front but also aren't explosive or fast at skill positions just a generic no identity squawd.
Tuputala seems way better this year and they've done a good job of finally just mostly putting him at the LOS. Would have been awesome had they done that last year.
You also have the chance here to sell these guys on a Northwest Championship type in-season goal. Beat your old LA rivals in Seattle and go kamikaze against Oregon to close the season. You stayed. You'll keep your pride and not have an Asterix around your name on the 2023 roster for bailing on the progrum.
