Being with the team for more than 6 months will probably help
He gets 3 years. If the team isn't at double digit wins in 3 he isn't the guy
When interviewed he invariably flashes his used car salesman smile. He needs to watch Mike Leach footage and reboot his schtick
I'm hearing it's unfair to judge Fisch until year 3 or 4.
The enthusiasm and excitement is dead once again
Doesn't matter if Fisch turns out to be great because poor old Worshington couldn't afford to keep him
But at least they didn't overpay to keep DeBoer so we have that going for us which is nice
Nobody knows how much damage DeBoer did to the program, we can't compete with the NIL these days, he has a CONTRACT, etc., etc.

DeBoer wasn't going to stay at UW, it's strange you keep pretending that he was.
He may not get more than 2 if the OL play and QB play don't get better.
Dick Baird once said you need to wait 5-8 years
But who at UW is going to fire him after year 2?
I would tend to agree with you but we don't know that for sure. I agree with Race to the extent that we should have been much more aggressive to keep him. $9 million offer was an underbid.
Pat Chun, if he can find a big booster or two who will pay a lot.
UW could have offered $12 and he wouldn't have stayed because Alabama would have exceeded it. After Jen Cohen left and DeBoer hired Sexton as an agent, the die was cast.
It's kind of silly to keep debating it.
These are all assumptions.
But do you really think if UW offered him $12 million and Alabama offered him $12 million, he would have stayed after hiring Sexton and having to deal with a new AD at UW in Dannen, who apparently was an ass?
And your evidence is what?
Of course he would stay with support and money
Loser school loser fans
15 million and it was worth it
Same old shit
Bama would've paid 17
You think they are getting big dicked by Washignton when that coach doesn't want to be there?
The lack of in season improvement is the worst part. Of course I played golf today because I have half a brain but if the coach is making me play golf instead of watch the game then he’s probably the wrong coach.
He does get 2 years but he’s 1/3 of the way through that now and better show some shit in a hurry.
Not only that but Jimmy Sexton is from Tennessee and exclusively represents SEC coaches. Why would DeBoer hire Saban's agent if he wasn't planning on going to the SEC?
