Fisch was 1-11 and 5-7 his first two years at Arizona. Year 3 their only 3 losses were by 7 to UW and then twice in OT on the road to Miss St and USC.
Beginning of first year they lost at home to Northern Arizona. End of his third year they were one of the best teams in the country.
The two losses this year have been frustrating, as we continually sabotaged ourselves with undisciplined play and poor play calling in clutch moments. But I think it too early to tell what the end result will be. He seems to be the type of guy who looks at things long term instead of right now, which can also be frustrating too us fans. I don't think he really cares too deeply what happens this year from a W/L standpoint.
The one on the first drive was awful. It's fourth down and an interception there is actually better than an incompletion unless the guy returns it past the LOS (which is unlikely) and didn't even give the WR a shot at all.
Also, has there even a WR more skilled at getting a DB to make contact half a second before the ball gets there than Boston who never gets a fucking PI? None have been blatant but fuck me how has one not gotten a flag?
I expected a lot more out of a QB when under pressure coming from the SEC. This guy shits himself and throws it into the ground if there's any semblance of pressure. Including on 3rd down, when you can't even chalk it up as the "smart play".
He's been much better at getting out of sacks than I would have thought in the games that have mattered but way worse at making just general throws than I would've thought. I also think he's programmed for the Leach offense of endless short passes and it's killing them. Also might be too scared of throwing a pick.
Sark also inherited a shitload of previously poorly coached talent. I'm not very impressed with Fisch, but I will give him this: this team is very thin and has no experience playing with one another.
I agree 6-6 is probably in the cards. That might be optimistic.
Fisch has had more talent than every tram he’s faced so far. Sark did not. Fisch just lost to a team he outgained by over 200 yards. Wait until he plays good teams.
Waaaaay too much is made of "never playing together" and "needing time to gel". They've been practicing and playing together since January and they're mostly experienced players not a bunch of freshman. Stupid excuse

Doog
I will say, if UW is 3-4 or 4-6 in the next few weeks, sure go ahead and put Demond in.
Not yet at that point
Right. Tell us again how easy Rutgers is to beat you fucking moron
They were pretty easy and paper soft on defense.
Fisch playcalling and penalties lost them the game, not Rogers who threw for 300 and 2 tds
Throwing the ball 10 yards over the receiver on 3rd and 4th down is special
He might be. Too early to tell.

Agreed. If he just hits the checkdown it is a huge play as he was completely uncovered. But he throws it into an impossible situation instead.
I was referring to Fisch's bullshit and gaslighting
I think Sark really believed that nonsense he uttered. I think Fisch is just saying something positive for the media.
Sark inherited an 0-12 with no portal and went 5-7. Fisch will probably go 6-6. He’s worse than Sark.
pretty good trolling

It’s been made fairly apparent that this team doesn’t actually practice.
Fisch sucks, Rogers sucks, we all suck for watching this shit.
Fisch is willingham.
