Big Penix Energy will never die

I will always hold how shitty a QB he was in Washington against RG3 (but more how he was an arrogant prick to his teammates. Yes he gets some pass for Dan Snyder being Dan Snyder but RG3 was still a dick) but he became a decent commentator. I wonder if he was also a dick to his ESPN coworkers.

Chinteresting point I never considered. I assumed it was about money.

There was a lot of smoke around RG3 being the owner’s pet and therefore had more clout than the staff. Also smoke from players and coaches in that same vein. The O Line suddenly blocking better when Cousins played wasn’t an accident. I’ve heard enough from the players/coaches of that era to give it more credence than just rumors and complaining.
Dude never caught on anywhere else in a real role. Yeah, injuries but Usually when players leave the Redskins their careers get better. Never happened with RG3.
I don’t discount DJ’s comment that it is entirely possible that he has matured.

Dude actually watches the quarterbacks and analyzed them accordingly. He would openly mock some of Kiper's qb big boards and it was pretty funny. Also, he was right. He is a good color commentator. Sometimes tries a little hard for the catch phrases, sometimes they're funny too.

Neither were great, but there were dozens of useless people who should have been fired before them. Start with Sarah Spain and Meah Kimes or whatever her name is.

Well… NFL players, who on average have short careers, are going to intentionally not play well on the offensive line in order to sabotage a QB they reportedly don't like?
