I saw AG as a teenager and lost interest quickly. Not rated R enough for me at the time. I should give it another try now that T&A content isn't 99% of how I evaluate a movie.
AG ha Chrissy from Threes Company and Shirley from Laverne and Shirley and of course Opie who would star in Happy Days. And Richard Dryfuss who was huge in stuff like Jaws
The Accountant with Ben Affleck. Some of the plot was kind of silly but I forgot how much I liked the premise as a whole. Plus that geeky looking girl does it for me.
Finally watched Boys in the Boat last night. Mrs Nacho loved it but hasn’t read the book. It’s been long enough since reading the book that I knew there were major parts missing but couldn’t remember them all.
George Clooney was looking for a payday. Best seller book, make very little efforts to authenticity, drawing in audiences, make profit. Can't say I blame him but when PBS does a better job, maybe you should stick to acting like Danny Ocean in every role you play.
I don't like Vietnam War movies but watched Ambush last night - no T&A all guys getting blown up as they fought to recover a top secret document in the tunnels the Viet Cong used.
Ambush is one of the very worst Vietnam movies. Tone deaf, ignorant of military matters across the board and historically inaccurate…fiction notwithstanding. Also, MREs were not invented until 1980.

I want to see Manhunter.
If Michael Mann dies before he finishes Heat 2, that would be horrible.
Watched American Graffiti last night. Had never seen it before.
The fuck?
I love AG but I know a lot of people who don't. Great soundtrack.
Just a movie that came out a year after I was born and never interested me enough to find it and watch it.
People forget AG begat Ralph and Potsie.
Just had this discussion of movies my 30 year old daughter had never seen. Animal House, Airplane, Caddyshack, The Godfather…
Parent fail

All star cast. Not to forget Hans Solo
Don't forget the accountant from Untouchables.

My take always:
George Clooney was looking for a payday. Best seller book, make very little efforts to authenticity, drawing in audiences, make profit. Can't say I blame him but when PBS does a better job, maybe you should stick to acting like Danny Ocean in every role you play.
People forget Clooney was the handyman in Facts of Life.
Which is all the credibility one needs when lecturing the world on climate change and geopolitical matters.
Are you in or are you out?
I watched Get Shorty again. Still funny. Probably hit up Be Cool again too
The Travolta post Pulp Fiction renaissance

Fell asleep during The Beekeeper on Sunday.
Biden is senile and Project 2025 is going to make porn a felony, so I'm binge-watching Pornhub.
Going to see Longlegs this week.
