Don't worry, everybody -- they spent a lot on Government Infrastructure and Racial Infrastructure. Almost as good as real infrastructure.
You will remember that Trump also tried to get an infrastructure bill through -- but Democrats refused to vote for it, to deny him any kind of a success.

Rampant inflation and President Joe Biden's favoring of left-wing policies are contributing to a lack of progress on his landmark infrastructure law, analysts told the Daily Caller.
Two and a half years after Congress ratified the $1.2 trillion Bipartisan Infrastructure Law in November of 2021, there has been very little concrete progress on new roads or bridges. The trillions of federal dollars the Biden administration has poured into the economy may actually be hindering the completion of the infrastructure that Biden promised to build, analysts told the Caller.
"Right now, the inputs cost 31 percent more than they did in January 2021," David Ditch, a senior policy analyst at the Heritage Foundation, told the Daily Caller. "They've been flat for, frankly, about two years at this point, but they increased so dramatically right away that even though the amount of available money for highway projects is much higher now than it was in 2021, the value of that spending is lower."
The lack of headway undercuts Biden's campaign messaging on "transforming our crumbling transportation infrastructure -- including roads and bridges, rail, aviation, ports, and inland waterways."
The Biden campaign touted it as "the largest infrastructure plan since President Eisenhower's interstate highway system."
The federal government has granted $454 billion to states across 56,000 projects, according to the White House. This commitment of taxpayer dollars would seem to make good on one of Biden's marquee campaign promises to deliver new bridges and roads to the nation. But of the 10 bridge and highway projects with the most money allocated from the bill, only one -- the $1.6 billion Penn Station Access project -- has broken ground on major construction.
As Obama was true of Obama's "infrastructure stimulus" -- which produced almost nothing except a few bike paths and dog parks in blue cities -- the purpose of this "infrastructure spending" was just another massive heist of money from Republicans to pour into Democrat precincts....
One of Biden's most touted campaign initiatives was to "rebuild our crumbling roads, bridges and ports," a line he has repeated ad nauseam, including when he introduced former presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg to be his Transportation Secretary. Biden tapped Buttigieg, a move he lauded as "precedent-busting," to help "revitalize the nation's infrastructure," according to Politico.Buttigieg touted the bill's expenditures as "some of the most meaningful investments in infrastructure we've ever seen in this country."

My mind quite can’t reach the point where it accepts that the UniParty wants to deliberately fuck is all over but I’m running out of alternative explanations.
I’ve never been anyone to be intimidated by other people and for the most part view career politicians as incapable grifters who depend on private taxpayers for their salaries, with the current President being the best example of that yet. He’s produced nothing on his own in his life except partisan division and a very sad excuse for a family that includes addiction, alleged molestation, and a granddaughter they all ignore.

Here’s a story. Was at the UW-Notre Dame game years ago in the 2000s taking a piss. Notre Dame clobbered us with some mediocre RB (Darius?) running wild. CFO of our company comes up to me in what were then undivided urinals, says hello, has “Ws” in purple on both sides of his face, and wants to shake my hand and say hello before we wash. I was like “uh hey gonna wash my hands” and then walked out of the bathroom without his cherished handshake. He was so wasted he didn’t remember it when I said we saw each there at the game, or more likely, feigned ignorance.

Politics is so binary now. I’m pro-choice but opposed to abortion because going through it when I was young, that’s a child to me. Get an abortion if you want but some women suffer after it for the loss of a child. I have a personal example of that and it would have changed our lives having the kid.
It’s an individual choice and ruined by binary politicians looking for votes. On that issue, Trump wanting states to decide it pissed off extremists on both sides and his polling hasn’t suffered.
The worst part, Tyrone recruited a lot of the kids to Notre Dame that came into Husky Stadium and shit on Tyrone on the way to 0-12. People forget that. People forget that.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole tale. Happened in November but it's news again. Right over the hill. Black bears, old ladies, coroners, the whole bit.
As a grad student in Bozeman, have a friend still to today whose aunt lived in Bear Canyon and he was living there from Detroit and walked in to a black bear standing on their kitchen island. Walked straight through the screen door and bailed. Was a juvy with no cubs, thankfully. This happens in the woods. I wasn’t there but was at that house numerous times.
Oh yeah black bears are in houses all over the place around Tahoe, there was a big hubbub about somebody who shot one last week, but Black bears are typically skittish as hell, non aggressive scavengers, big raccoons essentially, I've had multiple come through my campsites in the Sierras, One touched his fucking snout to my tent, I didn't enjoy it, but they scatter quick. They aren't comparable to grizzlies, they're not killers, yet this one killed an old lady in cold blood in her home, it appears.
Craziest time I had wasn’t my grizzly encounter in Glacier on the Iceberg Lake hike, which happened within 30’ but it was a juvy male and we had bells so it wasn’t alarmed.
It was camping with my wife about 20 miles outside of Big Timber, MT with our malamute in about 1996. Dog got in a fight with a Big Horn Ram ona bike ride and then was so exhausted he slept through a wolf pack running right in our campground where we were the only ones there. No amenities, we do that shit still at times but went hard back then.
I have strong memories of my hike at Iceberg Lake with pops, I was probably 14. Stared two mountain goats in the face from 5 ft away, that was fun, then we had a marmot follow us that was obsessed with our shoes. I lifted this marmot in the air attached to my foot. We ended up calling him Shoemunch. He was far too humanized.
Yeah, not the scary.

Now that I'm thinking about it, I think Iceberg Lake was the trail where a grizz crossed the trail bout 100 yards up. Not far from the trailhead. Large group of hikers had assembled because of this bear and her cubs roaming a meadow blocking the path. My dad made a joke about holding hands and singing Kumbaya. People chuckled and groaned. That may have been the same hike. I'll have to ask him tomorrow.
