A few years ago I watched Inception while getting drunk - it made no sense, tonight I watched it sober. Good special effects. thought the movie was pretty good
@El_Kfrom beyond was Lovecraft and a good movie. Have seen it a couple of times.
another one that I love in that genre is Frankenhooker - classic B horror
I love inception. Makes one think, but not like hard and stuff, visuals, and action. Inception is why people watched Tenet, which IMO had interesting action, but too much thinking. My brain hurted!
I’ve always had a thing for tan skin. Eva Mendez is my perfect. I think it started when she walks down the hall with a some and a push up style halter.
Finally realized what movie I have to thank for that. We Own the Night. Good movie, not great but Eva Mendez.
I flew from Hawaii to Seattle and then Seattle back to Kentucky this week which means I binged on some fucking movies.
Fury with Brad Pitt and some other dudes in a WWII tank. I’m a sucker for action movies and this one was pretty damn good.
L.A. Confindential. It’s been so long since I’ve watched it start to finish that I thought I was watching the wrong movie for the first 5 minutes. It might’ve also been the edibles talking. Great flick and back before Kevin Spacey was outed as a pedo or whatever.
Seraphim Falls with Pierce Bronson and Liam Neelson. Fucking pointless, terribly written stupid fucking waste of my time. I chose this and finished this over Blazing Saddles and Band of Brothers. Multiple times during the the movie, I was asking “why is this guy doing that instead of getting away?” Just dumb.
Part 1 of Band of Brothers. Fucking classic. If you don’t like Band of Brothers, you’re possibly a commie or an Oregon fan.
Fletch. Another classic. This is Caddy Shack are in Chevy Chase’s Top 3 movies for me, the first Vacation movie is the 3rd.
Speaking of all of that great WWII material, have ya tried watching Masters of the Air? I had to turn it off after 15 minutes. Trying WAY too fucking hard to be BOB bu with terrible dialogue and all of the pretty actors were ridiculous.

I like it so far. Victim of the whole Cinemax -> HBO → Netflix situation .

Dune Part 2 is pretty good.

Band of Brothers is TV gold. One of the best series ever rather easily. I'll have to put that on my loose watching plan for this month.
Band of Brothers is the best WW2 movie (not named Das Boot) even though it was TV mini series.
The Fury tank battle scenes are terrific.
Those poor guys in the Shermans. Fortunately, the Germans had few tanks and little fuel by that stage of the fight.
Brad Pitt is the most underrated of WW2 actors. I love that guy in these types of flicks,
the big short - if you liked my recommendation on the gamestop movie, you’ll love this one.
The most impressive thing about it is that it’s a true story. Some drama added to it to tell the story.

Haven't watched Masters of the Air. That bad? Damn.
it’s awful.
IDK what you guys are talking about, Master's of the Air is quite good. It's better than The Pacific, which is really all you can ask for.
Poor Things. Different and was entertained
Coming to America. Got sucked into it and stayed with it through the end.
I didn’t like The Pacific first time watching it but thought it was great the second time around.
The Zone of Interest
Lived up to the hype more than most of the other award winners of 2023.
Kind of weird to actually recommend something that is trying to be a bunch of things at once and yet is purposefully trying to have a nothing plot.
finally watched The Warriors for the first time.
Warriors…..come out and plaaaaay.
