We’re trying to watch episode four this morning and my wife just said the piercings are too distracting to even pay attention to the dialogue. Glad they got a female minority hero cop though… TITTT
Is the last episode even worth watching? I Googled and saw a list of 25 unanswered questions and holy shit it sounds like this thing was a high school creative writing project that got a B-.
The show as a whole starts slow because there's no other way to show how impressive/hard it was for Jake Adelstein to get that job in the first place. The rest of it has been fictionalized off of real things he investigated that IRL were probably pretty boring.
The Yakuza lord cutting in front of the line to get his liver transplant at UCLA, and then threatening Adelstein that he would kill him and his family if he reported on it, apparently really happened though. Name was just changed.
I guess I’ll rank Night Country third in the series because I finished it as compared to season two. It’s not by much though. Didn’t have me captivated at all. Meh at best
Watched #3 last night. The problem is that I don't give a shit about any of the characters and it lacks tits and violence. There was a little more in 3
Night Country was like last year's ASU game with Powell's pick six. I will actually rank season 4 behind season 2 because they just focused on building a lot of it around leftist porn concepts and season 2 the people who made it actually earned getting to make something incoherent. This was literally something someone would write in a creative writing class which had a few ideas but then was just a complete mess.
This is what I've been saying!!! The Twitter of the person they allowed to make this crap is like reading the feed of someone you went to high school with who was already the worst person you knew and then lost their mind.
The only people I’ve seen applauding this season are the same people always searching for non existent WOKE points… a lot of white sportswriters… TITTT

how about the pierced cheeks on the cop. You don’t even see that in Seattle.

A tatted up and pierced woman of Native descent and a fat ass?
She's a @Swaye wet dream
Probably a plus to not have to hear that dialogue.
There should be a Tokyo Vice thread. Most worthwhile use of time on Max in awhile.
Guess I'll watch

It was fine. I didn't feel like my time was wasted.
Then again I watched 3+ hour Oppenheimer this weekend so maybe that was part of it.
Oppenheimer is great.
Night country is not.
The ~3 minute scene of Truman telling Oppenheimer that he's a fucking pussy was the only part of the movie I enjoyed.
Tokyo Vice is solid but the subtitles are hard to follow after an edible.
Not impressed 2 episodes in

Tokyo Vice kicks ass and blows night country out of the water. Race you need to give it more than 2 episodes.
