“VX passports if you want to go to a restaurant but no ID should be required to vote in an election”
ID to check out a library book
ID to get a fishing license
ID to get a driver license
ID to get on an airplane
ID to open a bank account
ID to apply for welfare
ID to rent a car
But no ID to vote in a national election
The idea that Voter ID laws disenfranchise people is absurd, unless we are to assume that those same people are also completely unable to participate in any of the above activities.
we give out free ID cards to homeless people, but for some reason it’s racist and disenfranchising to require people to show the ID when they go to vote.
If you’re against voter ID you are against fair elections, full stop. I fucking dare any of the board mush-brains like @HuskyBuck@MelloDawg@HHusky to argue the contrary.
You forgot the "enhanced" drivers license citizens now have to get because of non citizen drivers being issued a DL and will be mandatory across the board..all states to get on a plane in 2025
I'd compromise and make it three days of in person voting. Biggest control that fix a lot of problems is just cleaning the voter rolls themselves. Have the IRS/Social security admin provide the list to each state of who they are even allowed to send a ballot to, based off of address of last tax return. No tax return, you aren't eligible anywhere. Would cut down on the duplicates. I still get three extras at my house, one of which I know for sure is the previous owner who moved out of state over ten years ago. Can only imagine what goes on at apartment buildings. Have a separate process for people that turned 18 recently or moved since their last tax filing.
I like how the "opinion" piece, right of the bat, is careful to phrase the Headline as a question to avoid libel and then follow up with innuendo to bring the point home.
A "glitch". Anyone get fired for the "glitch"? Rhetorical question. Few internal controls and no consequences for not following and documenting compliance with the controls. When your internal control to stop illegals from voting in US elections is a checked box on the registration form which is never independently confirmed you know how rotten our elections are in favor of the dems.

Trump still won! They had to stop counting and cheat!
You mean the Real ID act, written in 2003 that’s been pushed back every year and will again in 2025?
Ok.
Yes, that one... do you have a point?
I have a real ID

Aw, nuts. Maybe more than just one county, right?
The Homonormative Autist gets his “real news” from articles labeled as “Opinion” and then posts them here.
Watch it.

Fanni involved in covering up election fraud as well?
Nevada weighs in.
A feature not a glitch!
