Yes…it is. That is an incredibly ignorant comment. While the stock market will always fluctuate up and down, it will eventually head up. Always has.
Yes, you’ve got morons who want to throw at penny stocks but there are better safer ways to do this. Throw INTO AN S & P Index fund to take out the guess work and you will gain over time.
Forget about my personal situation, The theme of my posts have always been this. Educate yourself on your finances and be disciplined in your fiscal decisions. If you cant afford something, you cant afford something! If you want to afford something, then make yourself better.

Thanks I already have a max contribution matched 401k, personal stock portfolio, managed IP, business equity, and business/personal real estate.
But I certainly appreciate you looking out for everyone’s financial well-being.
None of this has anything to do with your average American family that lives paycheck to paycheck and needs to figure out how to pay rent, utilities, and buy food and clothes.
Telling Haie’s 40yo bartender who takes care of her daughter who’s 80k in debt to UW that she should be invested in an index fund to offset inflation is beyond absurd and I hope you were able to get that pre-bonus 175k/yr brain of yours around that fact.
Here’s a question for you. Why did the daughter go 80K in debt to UW if they had no plan to repay it? She could have gone to a community college the first few years then reevaluated her financial situation then? She could have gone to cheaper colleges if she really wanted to go. But people want to do things because they HAVE to do things regardless of their financials. Let me guess…thats Bidens fault right?
Well Biden did pass legislation to not allow student debt to be wiped away in bankruptcy. Which lowered the risk rate to lenders, which caused interest rates on loans to go down, which led to more availability and demand for loans, which then caused tuition costs to rise dramatically.
I thought Joe ran on eliminating student loan debt and that wasn’t a thing anymore? Watch him make the same promises this year and yet again fail to deliver.
Yes she's stupid and likely a serf for her future existence. But this whole problem was created out of a desire to artificially limit the actual risk to the lender vs what the free market would bear. Government created this problem. Do you not see that?
I'm not on that boat of forgiving loans. Not sure where you got that idea. You're the one who thinks i'm being tough on idiots making the wrong financial decisions.
I was rather shocked over your woke ideals, was pretty sure we'd be on the same side there but apparently not.
Who said I vote for it? 2nd, even if I do, it's one issue of many issues I evaluate. Having my net worth triple over the last 4 years is weighted pretty well.
The loan was only offered because of government guarantees of the loan. The next loan is required to keep the scam of all the previous ones going.
I probably have a different opinion than most on this board, but I'm for some sort forgiveness provided that we end these guarantees and force all new loans into the open market. Demand would shrivel up and costs would come down.
It's the same as going for immigration reform ie amnesty if the border was closed and immigration was safe and legal and made up of productive would be citizens and the bad actors of recent vintage are shown the door
Your deal on loans is reasonable but that's not on the table. Leftists are baffled that the high cost of college and these loans went and go hand in hand

The Biden economy sucks
And another thing, if you can’t triple your net worth in the past 4 years….you’ve sucked at life.

How old were you in 2009?
So......why did the daughter go 80k in debt again with no plan to repay it? I'm not sure that was ever answered.
I thought Joe ran on eliminating student loan debt and that wasn’t a thing anymore? Watch him make the same promises this year and yet again fail to deliver.

Why is Biden appealing to democrats in his illegal loan forgiveness scheme
He's not doing it to win Trump voters. It's your base

You just vote for it
I don't

The problem was created when she signed up for a loan she knew she couldn't afford. (End sentence)
