But you vote for government control of our energy policy resulting in higher prices and lower efficiency. But thank god you are in favor of a free market for Pepsi except for those dems who want a sugar tax. Just a true conservative with several mythical degrees who voted for a socialist dementia patientHHusky said:https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2024/01/04/pepsi-lays-carrefour-grocery/
Pepsi has been notoriously trying to increase margins on perceived inflation. Of course, the pushback from customers is a normal market force and, as a conservative in the true sense rather than the hysterical TugCon sense, I favor letting the market resolve this. -
Shrill populists will always refer to anything more regulated than anarchy as “socialism” while falsely labeling themselves as “conservatives”. Funny you should mention energy. Chevron appears to be right there with Pepsi when it comes to greedflation.WestlinnDuck said:

While the Republicans nominate a rapist fascist felon for President, I’m not making the sugar tax a voting issue. You do you, though.

Someone needs attention this morning.
Keep the economy as the top issue. It's a winner for Biden. -

Are you trying to make a relevant point? Do you think that "inflation easing" from extreme highs means everything is good now?
Next time try linking relevant articles. -

You’re WAY too old to be pretending this short lived bump in CPI is even close to what we both saw as young adults. -
Umm, Groundwork Collective is as far left of center a think tank can get. Only a rat would believe any research and conclusion that came out of that socialistic hell of an organization.HHusky said:

LOL! It went from a 4 year average of about 2.1% under Trump and jumped from 1.7% in 2020 to 7% in 2021when your ancient hero took over.HHusky said:

That is a huge jump and arguably, the worst of the effects of bad rat fiscal policies will be felt for several years yet.
But somehow you are defending the cost of living hurting average Americans. Politics over people. That is the real motto of the rat party.
