I had a horrible feeling when I watched the Pac-12 Forever Champions video and there was a ton of Grubb it and barely any DB and then again in the following videos. UW is 0-3 from promoting the coordinator. It's kind of like how they couldn't hire a defensive guy like Wilcox after two years of Lake and Donovan.
The only coordinator promotion I can think of working long-term is David Shaw and Harbaugh left the cupboards even stronger than they were in his final season. Deboer has recruited just a bit better than Lake and taken layups in the portal.
Part keeping the guy to maintain continuity is having players you don't want to leave.
Coordinator hires work all the time. Just not at uw. It's in our dna.
Three home games, Vegas, New Orleans, and Houston. Time and money commitment was real. If Deboer leaves all it means his view of the season was different than mine. He was playing for a better job. I get it. Basically I will just erase the season from my mind.

From within? I can only really think of Shaw. Day you can kind of say but he took over a few feet from home plate and is close to having Ohio State back on third. They can also work out very very shortly like Coker and maybe Helfrich because he at least kept the wheels on enough to play for a natty?
I really wonder how good of a move it is with Deboer leaving the shelves completely empty and the portal wide open for any decent player to leave.
had a dream last night Grubb was the coach but he still ran the same offense that required longer than a bull ride to make a pass and every plays was a sack.

Yes we did
Yep. And now I’m more of a Seahawks fan than I’ve been in a while.
