  I imagine nothing feels better than when your boss brings in his frat brother/drinking buddy to “team up” with you to do your job. That’s got to be great. Kwat should bail and DC for Choate at Nevada.

  He has gone from working for disciplined Peterson at Boise, follows him to UW is very successful and comfortable at his position, gets demoted to Co-DC to share space with front runner fraudster Jimmy Lake, watches his old buddy randomly quit and his shit talking understudy undeservedly get promoted into HC, watches everything implode, takes a lateral move to work under a drunken adulterer who also doesn't deserve his position, is on the verge of being sacrificed to the cow gods before having a miracle sober-season to save his job, and is now watching Sark get the old frat house back together and taking another Co-DC demotion to do it.

  Good point, this is the second time Kwat has to move over and be a Co-Defensive Coordinator. It kind of implies that they didn't do better than 12-2 because of Kwat

  God, I completely forgot about that co-defensive coordinator bullshit. I bet at the time I thought it was a smart move on UW’s part to keep Lake (fuck, past Me was so dumb/naive at times) and Kwat was Nebraska classy to “agree” to all of that…but now I’m wiser and know you NEVER sacrifice your own interests for the company.
  
  Hopefully Kwat sees the writing on the wall and starts entertaining other offers.

  This was my first thought. How many times has Kwat been at his desk after hours drawing up plays only to have his co-DC stop by his desk and ask "I'm hotting the bar. Not coming in tomorrow. By the way, why do you work so hard?"

  Choate was co-DC with PK at Texas before he got a head job in Nevada. Not sure PK cares about the title as long as his check clears and he gets to call the defense. Also as someone who has gotten a head job in Nevada myself, I can vouch that it’s always better to get a head job.

  This isn't anything like that. Everybody is a "co" coordinator these days. Kwat called the plays alongside Choate, he's surely calling the plays alongside Nansen.
  
  The Jimmy Lake thing was...unique.
  
  In retrospect that's when we should have known it was over for Pete.
