It’s not just disrespectful, it’s an economic hardship and dangerous for some fans…those late games force fans driving in from out of town to either pay for a hotel or drive home very late at night. If you’re coming in from Eastern WA, that might mean driving over mountain passes in the dark, which is not fun especially in winter conditions.
These last minute kickoff times were the number one reason my friend and I dropped our season tickets after 10+ years. We couldn’t plan our Saturdays because we had to block out an entire day. Tailgating and the game should only take up half the day.

If it's a 5-7:30pm kickoff I might say fuck it. Don't even want to stay overnight in Seattle anymore this season. Plus, Paul Finebaum voice 'It's UTAH'.
Tell me about it. I’m such a control freak that it’s killing me to not know kickoff time so I can plan that Saturday.
Some of the buffets open early, some late and I gotta know what order to travel for those buffets. It’s impossible to plan until I know the start time.
Current weather forecast (10 days out, I know) calls for 60% chance of rain and lightning. Can't wait to have our air it out offense and Florida QB play in that against the team that wants it sloppy as hell to win.

This issue is the number 1 reason for the massive drop in ticket sales and Season Ticket decline ~ number 2 reason has been the increasing large volume of late night games which compete with truck racing on grade B cable

A generation of shit football has a lot to do with uw attendance. Also kids taking less interest in sports factors in as well. Especially on the west coast. We would draw 4K to 5k in high school for the rivalry game in the late 90's early 2000's. Now the attendance is equal to a few hundred comprised of a band forced to be there and family of players.
The kick off times do suck, but the reality is other fanbases in other parts of the country deal with and still show up. It just means more.
That is absolutely true, winning does make a difference for sure but what DDJ has expressed is also very true and has single handedly killed ticket sales in favor of just watching on TV ~ thousands of long time alumni and regional season ticket holders + single game buyers have simply given up over the last decade because they are tired of not being able to make plans, and also do not want to get home at 1 in the morning due to travel time following a late night game for up to 1/2 of the games on a season schedule. Those factors simply did not use to be an issue within our local and regional market ~ this is a substantial paradigm shift, and that is the outcome.
People with actual lives tend to have the disposable income needed to attend and those people also tend to have a greater need to plan things out in advance. But fuck them I guess because the stupid TV contract trumps all. Oh yeah and we’re gonna put most of the games on streaming anyways so the cable networks can double dip.

Big screen TV, McDonald’s, cheap beer, non shitted out toilets, it’s just easier to watch from the comforts of *Dad’s basement.

As long as it’s not a downpour, I think the rain may be a benefit. Penix doesn’t really get messed up by wet conditions, because he’s got big enough hands to grip the ball and throws hard enough to stay on target. (Note: I did not intend it when writing, but rereading this I’m aware that the preceding sentence can be read to contain sexual overtones).
I don’t think Utah’s QB is in the same boat, so may offer more opportunity to sell out on the run.
The concern isn't so much the rain, Florida gets tons of rain. The concern is cold rain which Florida gets basically none of. I haven't seen the forecast but I if it's in the 40's or lower with rain that could definitely be an issue.
We overcame the atmospheric river against Beav year. We should be able to handle this against Utah.

So I’m sure will be 7:30 game
