For the second half.

Unleash the Mo

Only if you want to kill the Heisman hype. If he’s injured they better get him right before Utah.WilburHooksHands said:I think he’s a little banged up, when he missed a wide open 9 yard out to rome in the 4th something seemed wrong. Do you sit him this week if he is?

How about just keep someone in the back field to fucking block and throw to the tight ends. Grubb is the highest paid offensive coordinator why the fuck can’t he make adjustments
-
Let Dylan coook!!!

Disagree. Going 5 wide every play and trying to throw deep while you get double a gap raped every play is a much better strategy. Adjustments are for fagsNeGgaPlEaSe said:How about just keep someone in the back field to fucking block and throw to the tight ends. Yes. Sit him. I don’t think he’s right either. My guess is “cramps” is a sly way of saying minor cartilage damage to his ribs. He can reestablish his trophy campaign with wins over USC, Utah and OSU. Morris should be enough to beat Stanford. If he’s not, take down the banner.

I thought for sure we were seeing DMo either against Oregon or ASU during the goal line stand drive against Oregon. Penix looked terrible and in awful pain and could barely throw + grabbing his knee. He was right in front of and facing my seats pretty much the whole drive.
My theory is it wasn't an IV he got before that drive it was a pain shot and it hadn't kicked in yet. It kicked in on the next drive though and on his freestyle. He was as high as Bryce Love in the second half against UW in 2017.
If I remember correctly you can only do the pain shot for one half really. I think they used it in the first half against ASU hoping they could get up by a couple of scores but the rain and dumb shit and ASU being able to sit on the ball fucked up that plan.
Going with DMo against Stanford major roll of the dice. Win and it's genius, lose and we're burning this place down. Also, not sure if I can handle another stressful game. -
Also, Penix needs to run and I'm guessing he's hurt and won't right now. There's plays including his first INT where the field is just wide open and the fact teams know he won't at all is making him really easy to defend.
-
Not a chance Penix isn’t playing. This offense actually has a ton of shit to work on with qb1 at the helm.
They need to get the rbs more fully integrated into the offense still. Dillon needs another 100 yard game, plus they need to work on screen passes and other stuff.
They need to run the damn ball -

Remember when Keith Price was hurting and Sark started Nick Montana against OSU in 2011? Then Montana sucked, so they put in Price in the 2nd half but it wasn't enough and we lost.
The coaches need to scheme a game plan to keep Penix upright and untouched (and for defenders to stop slapping down his balls) -

Yeah let's sit him so that he's fresh for his preseason opener with the New York Giants.

Sit the best QB any of us has ever seen in our lifetims at UW in the middle of an undefeated season with him the leading candidate for the Heisman while ranked 5th in the cuntry? I just want to make sure I am understanding the dumb shit some of you are saying correctly.
-
Yeah I'm not buying in. This isn't a fantasy team. You don't sit your Heisman candidate qb on a whim or a feeling. He had guys in his face all game, threw one lame duck pick, and missed one out pattern (then proceeded to throw darts on several more)Swaye said:Sit the best QB any of us has ever seen in our lifetims at UW in the middle of an undefeated season with him the leading the candidate for the Heisman while ranked 5th in the cuntry? He was still zipping the ball like always from what I could see. He is the team. If Penix and the med staff and coaches think he can play then he should sure as fuck play. -
This thread starting with long COVID, developed AIDS halfway through, and is now battling pancreatic cancer.

You have no idea the physiological damage this asu game did to the HH baseSwaye said:Sit the best QB any of us has ever seen in our lifetims at UW in the middle of an undefeated season with him the leading the candidate for the Heisman while ranked 5th in the cuntry? He was off and his ribs were bruised
Get him some more vicodin from here on out -

Some here are insinuating amputation necessary for Penix.
Fuck that.
Football is hard. You play with pain most of the time. If he can move and throw, he plays. If he can't, fine. Get the bone saw.
The calls for Morris to play against Tree are retarded. -
Uw should be able to beat Stanford by handing the ball off every play

But do you think they can? I don't.PostGameOrangeSlices said:Uw should be able to beat Stanford by handing the ball off every play

If USC can go up 45-0 against Stanford in the first half this team should be able to manage 21-28 pts by half. Then run it down their throats and let Dmo get all the practice he needs checking down to the tight ends and backs. Westey needs fed anyway.
-
You saying that with such authority means fuck all. Show me the "off" passes and see if it amounts to more than those I mentioned. He was off because he was under pressure on every drop back. He's not used to it and it wasn't until late that they started calling reasonable pass plays against that defense. He could have hit 5-7 yard out patterns all day.PostGameOrangeSlices said:

Edit...Penix with sore ribs is light years better than the panic stricken, scatter armed midget you guys are trying to risk a game by starting. Man I can't believe we're still discussing this. We've seen him play. -
Ethan Garbers started for Ucla

No way in hell is Penix going to sit. The knock on his draft status is he gets hurt. The last thing he's going to do is voluntarily re-enforce his injury history.
-
Stanford is trash. Dmo inserted with major talent at all skill positions. Penix wasn’t right on Saturday. Didn’t look like he wanted to be on the field.
