Sorry bout 2001. The fact that a bunch of good players graduated (and were not replaced) is a YOU problem. Rick had a knack of doing a good job initially with other coach’s recruits and not so good with his own.
Miami respected you 20 years ago.
The 2000-2001 series was probably scheduled around the time the two of you shared the national championship in 1991.
Miami and Washington are chasing the same thing - relevance today compared to their historical past.
That ship has sailed. Too many ingredients have changed to achieve a long period of stability and consistently very good to great teams.
With the advent of the portal and the implementation of the NIL in recruiting, it’s the Wild West out there, IMHO.
Yes, that loss in 2001 had a real negative impact on the legacy of the 2000 team.
We all know about the legacy of the 2000 team and all the Warshington players that shouldn’t haven’t even been on the field.
Need a link to the series of articles in the Seattle Times detailing the failure of Coach Neuheisel to discipline players and the failure of the legal system to prosecute players?

The "Oregon doesn't care about Washington" poster on the board presents his Nth arbitrary timeline of Oregon achieving nothing on it but having a winning record against Washington.

What 33 years of football irrelevance does to the mind of a Doog. OREGON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The discussion was about Miami and Washington, not school administration’s, fans and alumni that care.
I thought this was a discussion about 2022 UW.
Sure seems like instead it's little brother arguing about their recent "legacy" while trying to point at big brother about relying on you know, an actual legacy. Embarrassing.
Anyways, both teams suck in 2022 with a few bright spots, tons of unknowns, and lots of roster holes. That means that they'll probably alternate a loss to Stanford and will be in the running to win the PAC! despite middle rung seasons since, you know, the PAC sucks.

The only people who give a fuck about that kind of thing are 50yo message board warriors.
Third in the NW
Allegedly
Only school to talk shit about their program after an 0-12 season . . . In total denial.
Losing to an unbelievably bad Cougs team coached by Paul Wulff in the Apple Cup to complete the 0-fer season in 2008.
Congrats on entrance into the Hall of Shame . . .
I care when they lose.
UO 23-11 v. UW since ‘87.
I was kind enough to include the UW Glory Years.
Don James quit.
I'm amazed at how someone with over 100 posts here doesn't get it. At all.
POTD.
It never gets old.

Tallest midget contest this year at it's finest.
