Beat Oregon.

Nothing else matters.

True as always?

As 2000 and 2018 showed, beating Oregon rarely matters.

Especially with no divisional restrictions now.

In case you missed it, Oregon beat Washington in 2000.

The Huskies would not have been in Rose Bowl (against 8-3 Purdue) except for the tie-breaker. Three conference teams with one loss at end of season.

    Thanks for proving my point.

My point is that Rick lucked out into that Rose Bowl against a weak Big-10 Champion.

You’re the dumb ass, Dom, that thought Hedges made this terrific hire.

Rick’s Colorado team got worse every season he was there.

Rick inherited a great team. Coach McCartney’s choice to succeed him was nixed by the lobbying of the Weasel (who was OC there for one year prior to becoming HC)

How did he do at Washington? UCLA?

Rick didn't luck out against Purdue. They had an NFL hall of famer quarterback. Where the fuck is Wisconsin's in 2019?

2000 UW didn't need a bunch of inexplicable fumbles.

At the 2012 Rose Bowl against Wisconsin (which Oregon won), Wisconsin’s QB was Russell Wilson, Dom. Ever heard of him DILDO?

The rest of the 2001 Purdue Rose Bowl team was average. They finished the season 8-4.

They lost to Notre Dame, Penn State and Michigan St. in the regular season.

Finished ranked 13th in the AP: below Washington, Oregon State and Oregon.

Those were Oregon's best teams which you compare to UW's.

UW had one the best teams in college football history.

Oregon's best went 0fer, and didn't even have the Pac working against them.

Zeroes. In football and in life.

The 2019 Rose Bowl featured Wisconsin running back with Jonathan Taylor, two-time All-American and winner of the Doak Walker Award for the best college running back; the first player in history to rush for more than 6,000 yards in any three-year span.

IN 2021, Taylor led the NFL in both rushing yards and TDS. Unanimous All-Pro and Pro Bowler in his first season.

Get the gals lined up and show ‘em how to dance, Dom.

    1. There was no drug testing at UW in 1991 (See Steve Emtman);
    2. They did not beat the 1991 Miami team.
    3. They shared the championship with them.

I would agree Warshington had one of the best college teams in THAT ERA . . . Compared to today’s teams . . . Not in the same league.

Warshington had the PAC working against them? LOL. You were 4.

That Purdue team had one great player and a bunch of 3* try hards. Oregon has never faced a squad inferior to that one in a RB.

    Beat Oregon, nothing else matters.

Every discussion of UW football will eventually involve 1991.

    Every.

    Single.

    Time.

    Telling.

When a team goes 10-1, I don't think you can say they lucked out. UW beat a great OSU team and Oregon didn't. That ended up being the key

How’d you do against the U, the following year AT MIAMI?

    Need a reminder?

Umm yeah, why wouldn't any school bring up something like that. If they had one. Oregon wouldn't know.

I could look it up but fuck it. Has Oregon ever defeated Miami? Miami thinks you're a pig trough out in the middle of some forests *somewhere* west of the Rockies (they're correct), so I doubt you've ever even played them.
