We have proven that with the right system we can make the playoffs with borderline top 25 talent while fielding the best defense in the country.
We have also proven hitting the "blue chip" 40% threshold means fucking nothing if the culture is rotten.
All else being equal you take the better recruiting, but Fresno State and their fighting 2 stars shouldve beat Oregon in Eugene and beat Chip in LA -
I don't buy this. He's going to know how important recruiting is. He's a successful, hard working coach who has done what he needed to do to kick ass at every job he has had. It's stupid, in my opinion, to assume he's going to struggle in recruiting. Name means jack shit.
