From what I have been told it's more about if we are willing to meet his price tag. He's on bored if so.

We could pay him 8 mil. It would be worth it for the revenue he would being in over the next 5-10 years.

    You get it

Jen Cohen told me we have the resources needed to hire the best coach for Washington.

The easiest blend to meet his quote and not over extend the AD is making 30-50% of the contract incentive based.

I'm sure he would want more guaranteed, but still.

Which fucking stoops are people talking about here? If it's Bob...

Why would Bob Stoops come to Washington? This seems like a huge woosh.

If he wanted to coach again he could go to a bigger name like USC or Texas or one of a half dozen openings that will be available this season.

He'd probably hate Seattle more than Petersen does.

Lot of stupid in this post

    - Bob was recently an XFL coach. He still has the itch.
    - He works at Fox with Petersen. Petersen is telling him that UW is a place he can recruit well, win big, but with less media BS than a USC or Texas. They are friends, and Pete would be his ally in the AD.
    - USC is a dumpster fire both as an athletic department and institution, currently
    - Petersen hates Seattle so much that he still lives here and still works for UW.

    Other poonts:

    - Stoops was dressed in all purple yesterday
    - backthepack grew up in Kirkland and his friend's dad donated $500 to the AD
    Clinches it !!!1!

    Stoops to UW, cook it!

The idea that Seattle is a shithole coaches wouldn't want to live in but LA isn't is laughable.

But there's more talent in LA. Better recruits in the area too.
