Why not Texas? They don’t compete with anybody anymore.dnc said:
Rumor is Stoops and Pete are tight and Stoops is interested. He's ready to get back into coaching but doesn't want to be anywhere where he'll be competing with/recruiting against OU out of respect to them. So the West Coast is ideal for him.GreenRiverGatorz said:Where the fuck is this Bob Stoops chatter coming from?
Couldn't care less who Fleenor thinks is realistic (is he even a big-time booster anymore?), and there's a quite a large fucking gulf between one of the greatest coaches of all time and Wilcox with his career losing record. Go get someone from that gulf.
But seriously, he’s going to recruit against Oklahoma either way. If you want Texas kids you will have to fight Oklahoma for them. -

This is cute. Did they become friends after that Fiesta Bowl or something?dnc said:

I know you’re being sarcastic but I’ve seen photos of Fleenor and that fucking midget has a huge head. It’s like an orange on a toothpick.Gladstone said:
Every tweet of his is either about lowering expectations for UW or angst-ridden inferiority complex anger politics. He also laughed at the idea that Petersen or any top name would come in 2013. Thankfully it seems most boosters care about winning this time and not just having their bums paddled by a loser staff. Lake could go 1-11 but as long as he playfully rubbed Fleen's 5'4 little head Bill would praise him to the moon and back.GrundleStiltzkin said: -
Bob Stoops would be an unmitigated disaster as a coach. His teams are soft and he could never win the big one. He peaked 10 years ago.

Stoops I believe made his bones as the D-Coordinator for those great Steve Spurrier Gator teams. So if the rumors are true and went that direction the offense would be the question mark.
