I like Coker and DDY but I'll be damned if I let that stop me from using everything they have said against them

You’ve never had a problem dishing it
You just never take it well
I've taken more shit than any man alive here
I give it right back

I smell a certain copypasta coming on......
Unless YOU have proof in HAND...it’s speculation for YOU. ‘Those who know’....meaning YOU are not a ‘THOSE’. I didn’t create the English language but ‘speculation’ is pretty cut and dry. Unless you are an eye witness, YOU are speculating. Word of mouth is not proof
Coker spent years calling Peterson a racist, Jen a brilliant AD, and Jimmy Lake the high level recruiter and coaching savior that will bring the FB program to the promise land. Pardon me if I ignore pretty much anything he and Dennis say...
I still like Dennis and Coker. They had some bad takes that have aged poorly. There’s also some other podcasters who have some embarrassing predictions out there. Not naming names…
TSIO was very entertaining as a podcast and the post-game analysis was pretty good.
For football insights, especially recruiting, it was pretty bad. Sadly, Coker and DDY thought that was their strength and poisoned their pod with all the "OKG is Racism" bullshit swallowing Nike propaganda hook, line and sinker.
The other aspect I enjoyed was how Teq got better with each drink, while DDY just became more obnoxious and bitter the more he drank.
Coker didn't drink at all and basically disappeared after the first 10 minutes. Typical of dullard Mormon men.
I’m talking about me tuff guy. I’m self deprecating and I make sure that I AM THE JOKE. Didn’t I send you a PM on how good your pod was? Don’t be insecure, you’re a bright guy and you’re entertaining.

I didn’t say what I said thinking you were talking about me per se
I’m simply saying if we’re linking people with bad takes then let’s talk about them … everybody has a bad take or opinion if you make enough of them … the question to me is does someone anchor to their position when the fact pattern has changed … what did they miss in their original take? Are there takeaways for next time?
Yes they had some bad takes, especially when it comes to player evaluation. However the real overall message that got muddied was recruiting matters, and it does.
Most people here were fine with Lake being promoted and thought he would do well. Hand up, I was one of them, and to give credit where credits due, I remember Coker and Dennis sounding the alarm regarding the early missteps in coach hiring, and recruiting right off the bat, at least until Dennis saw the writing and the wall and killed himself.

Yep
I was more of a LIPO and let’s see what we get but noted that on the surface it’s underwhelming
As with most things with Jimmy … it wasn’t one particular thing that got him fired but the totality of his mistakes

The irony...

I always just thought he left for a better job.
There, I said it.

The cringe to me is thinking in those terms … who thinks about being fast/slow strategy?
There’s always some grains of salt you have to take about any thought provoking paper that comes out of academia
