I do the same. I kept eagerly anticipating someone busting a big play against Arizona. By the time it finally happened I remembered that I wanted UW to lose that game.

Hitting hard is the hallmark of any great defense. 5 yard runs where the RB gets popped are much different than 5 yard runs where he gets hit at three yards and goes forward.chuck said:
They brought the safeties up more against Arizona. They didn't have an impact. So far none of them are very good at anything.LebamDawg said:We will have a rough time handling the Tree with only 9 on defense
I don't count the 2 safeties that do not appear on camera until the play is over
The amount of player improvement that has not been going on is really the biggest thing that stands out on this team. I thought the good S&C would at least carry over. Everyone looks weaker than ever though. Nobody goes down violently or falls backward against this defense. Gordon and McDuffie are the only two that I can remember making a clean, form tackle where the runner doesn't twist or slide off and at least fall forward. Most of the time the safeties are just getting trucked and praying the guy trips and goes down. -

Tight End is just one of many position groups (along w/ S, OL, DL, RB) where the talent was vastly overrated compared to what we've actually seen on the field.DoogieMcDoogerson said:Expect TE to be featured in our passing attack this week as Jimmy has a gigantic ego and will attempt to show Shaw that he isn't the only coach who knows how to use TEs. Given that our TEs are actually good (when they play and when we throw to them), this will likely have a good result.

No one thought safety was going to be good. They didn't even have the position set till the last couple games.
OL, DL agree
Half agree about RBs but I think Mcrew and Kamari are better than people thought. Yougers RBs worse -

If my friends and I were stoned enough we'd occasionally slip into a triangle zone in 3 on 3 pickup games at Ravenna Park. It was just a way to take a breather and the shitty1to392831weretaken said:
