    Are credit scores racist Kobe?

    2. Black college graduates have lower credit scores

According to data from Freddie Mac, the median FICO scores of Black households with a bachelor’s degree and a graduate degree were 623 and 636, respectively, lower than the median credit score of 680 for white households without a high school diploma. The median FICO scores of similarly educated white households were 728 and 737, respectively.

    Yes?

Or is Forbes too far left for you guys?
How are they racist Kobe? Articulate it for us. You didn't read that piece of garbage piece did ya Kunt?

Today, FICO considers payment history, amounts owed, length of credit history, new credit and credit mix in its model. But that data may be influenced by generational wealth that many Black and Hispanic borrowers did not have equal access to, says Frederick Wherry, professor of sociology and director of the Dignity and Debt Network at Princeton University.

You either pay your bills on time and are responsible with your spending and credit behavior or you're not. The author of this piece of shit piece offers no evidence that a lack "generational wealth" is why blacks have poorer credit ratings and of course neither do you. You Googled some piece of garbage article and that's all the evidence you needed. FICO has no fucking idea what color your skin is.

Weird how once again, Asians, have better credit scores on average than whites. How is that Kobe since credit scores are so racist? How is it that Asians consistent out perform even whites in all of these categories? Could it be that race has absolutely nothing to do with it?

My credit is spotless. There is zero generational wealth in my family. None, zip, nada. Not one wealthy relative since we came to this country at the turn of the century. I will literally inherit zero from my mother and my in-laws. They have nothing and the homes they live in I paid for.

The kobe's of the world are non-thinking parrots. Just repeating what other liberals FEEL. They are so racist and bigoted that doing nothing and then pointing the fingers at others and calling them racist or bigoted is some sort of cleansing for them. Makes them FEEL better about themselves. It is so narcissistic and twisted it boggles the mind how fucked up and damaging their humanity is. Kobe would literally sit back and watch another 60 years of the same torturous self defeating behavior we see in different black communities around the country and have no problem with it because he FEELS GOOD about blaming someone else rather than the same old failed policies his party has doomed so many with.

In reality it is truly tragic what the rats have done to the black family but until we come up with a cure for rat racism and stupidity it is going to continue.

If you read a little farther into the article they literally go back to 1944 and something like the GI Bill. That is an example the idiots give for bad credit scores for 20 somethings today.

Its a pathetic article written by and pieced together with like minded liberal idiots who would rather create blame than solve a problem.

I lived on the river there when that Burgerville was first opened. It was great. That house is easily worth $3-5 million now; that area and Dunthorpe is hardly slumming it.
WTF....There is nothing near that Burgerville restaurant that is three or 5 million. Those are the goddamn slums

You fucking assholes don’t know anything about West Linn and need to shut the fuck up

Dunthorpe is nowhere near West Linn.

What, a couple miles down 43? That entire stretch of river front property is extremely expensive. Below the old Marylhurst, on River Road there are several properties with land which are easily in that range. Our house had an 80 foot dock where the river is 100 feet deep. Sea planes and Yachts docked there routinely, 5000+ sqft with a creek running through it. You have no fucking clue what you're talking about.
East of Burgerville is the Willamette River and River Road. Very expensive.

When I graduated from high school my dad gave me a new pleather wallet with a $50 dollar bill in it. That was the last dime I ever received from my family. That was the generational wealth that was transferred to me. I've had an 800 plus credit score since I was in my 30s. Having kids out of wedlock, not skin color, is the biggest determining factor on whether or not you'll grow up living in poverty in the country

Of course Kobe believes white racism causes black people to have kids out of wedlock so he has all the bases covered.

Weird how that lack of generational wealth didn't force you to go out and spend beyond your means, and skip paying your bills.

Unfortunately, today one can't because low wage jobs don't pay enough for the gold plated administrative costs of today's colleges. This is a voting issue for me because I lack the high character of leftards who think that phucking over the youth of America is god's work.

So people aren't capable of living within their means and paying their bills on time today because? White racism. Got it. Hardly shocking that a guy who believes blacks are too stupid to get a photo ID also would think they're too dumb to be able to live a on budget.

What impact do you think having kids out of wedlock has on someone's finances Dazzler? Did I put off having a family until I was married and I could afford one because I was a Boomer Dazzler or was that because I'm white?

And even that was a waste of money

Why do you suppose college costs so much more these days when they are flush with cash and endowments? Think it might have anything to do with the people you have voted for securing all the loans which allows the colleges to charge as much as they possibly can?

Cray talk. Let's just keep blaming systemic racism and white supremacy for people getting in over their heads on loans for a worthless education. Because it only happens to minorities

I see the usual suspects are weighing in to say that their good fortune at having come of age at the most favorable time in the history of the past three centuries, at least for those making their way without inherited wealth, illustrates their strong character.

Not bashing strong character or good fortune. Don't twist.

So what are you trying to say here Dazzler, kids today don't know how to live on a budget? Or is it just the black kids that don't know how to live on a budget?

You're avoiding the point--no surprise. You got a college degree for a few hundred bucks a year. It put you in a position to earn more, and that education was heavily subsidized by those who earned less.

Our generation also benefitted from coming of age in a high growth era in which inherited wealth was not as significant to material success as it had been throughout most of the industrial age. At present, inherited wealth is moving back in the direction of greater significance, the position it has typically held.

And none of this is to say you didn't work hard.

But according to "He's Never Right" JW, the river front property from LO to WL is full of dumps. He has no fucking clue because he has no wealthy friends and he's never been invited into any of these multi-million dollar homes. I loved that BV by the way! My parents should have never sold the home. The owner of the largest yacht company in the Portland/Vancouver area bought it from them. Should have just given it to me;-)

Kobe's claim is that credit scores are racist. Why don't you trying sticking to the point.

And why is it that these "racist" credit scores don't affect Asians?
