My credit is spotless. There is zero generational wealth in my family. None, zip, nada. Not one wealthy relative since we came to this country at the turn of the century. When I graduated from high school my dad gave me a new pleather wallet with a $50 dollar bill in it. That was the last dime I ever received from my family. That was the generational wealth that was transferred to me. I've had an 800 plus credit score since I was in my 30s.
