He was the first huge recruit I remember and I watched him play in high school. I remember him being good at Kennedy, but not dominating like you would expect from a 5 star.creepycoug said:
Everybody with any sense about athletic potential loved Paul Arnold. No apology needed there. One of the most athletically gifted players to come through UW. Injuries are what derailed his career. Bad back is not a good problem to have when you play football. Kid was a specimen.TommySQC said:
God I loved them coming out of HS. One of my most embarrassing TBS moments. The other being Paul Arnold.Quietcowskee said:Didn’t Romar take Tre Simmons instead of the Stewart twins because of their Gee-like dad?
I do remember Marcus Trufant being unstoppable as a high school RB and Larry Stevens was great too. -
I dooged for Arnold but I always remember him looking too thin to be a great running back. He could run though.RoadDawg55 said:

Reggie williams looked and played like a 5 star.

Maybe due to proximity lay people have that impression, but having worked in several professional industries, that's just not true for people doing the hiringFireCohen said:

I always played with guys where we were as much about playing as a team than anything else in terms of screens, passing, helping on D, etc
Our biggest motivation was that we hated to sit out after a loss
I never could stand playing in games where it was a rush to see who could jack up the most shots -
Yep. Ask this guy!FireCohen said:

Easiest way to win pick up games is to let the Kobe wannabe jack up mid range jumpers.Tequilla said:

I played at Rainier Beach and Green Lake and jacked it up all day long
#Baller -
That was when RB still was white, Green Lake don't think there were any blacks then either.RaceBannon said:I played at Rainier Beach and Green Lake and jacked it up all day long

I played in the Seattle Mens League ran by Slick Watts and co pre-Covid
Was in the second division and did well so our team got bumped up to the first one
Got a train ran on us by Rodney Stuckey and friends
Not a cool story, just wanted to say I wouldve dunked on Tequila at the IMA -

Dudes at the IMA love jacking up 25 footers ... particularly back in the day when everything was a 1 ... go for it and take a bad shotRoadDawg55 said:

My crew regularly played with dudes like Nate/Will, Deon Brown, and others that played overseas ... let’s just say we held our ownPostGameOrangeSlices said:I played in the Seattle Mens League ran by Slick Watts and co pre-Covid

Gee has such an ego that he wanted his son to ride the bench at a blue blood so that he could walk around Seattle with a leather OSU jacket owning doogs.
Could have potentially earned his son and himself bags by having him go to *any fucking Pac 12 school* but he just had be one of those annoying douches that vehemently defends Seattle pro teams while hating the local school. He was supposedly on good terms of Adams but then goes around proclaiming that no one wants to come to Washington? What a fucking loser.
This probably ends with a quiet transfer to MSU, Ole Miss, Missouri, or South Carolina. -
