  That's pretty bad-ass. With that said, I feel pretty good about my fastest 2000m time of 7:53. That's about as well as this 50-year-old can do, after only 6 months experience on a Concept 2, without giving himself Exercise-Induced Bronchoconstriction.
  
  I recently got EIB after rowing my fastest 1000. I had never experienced that. I'm a little more careful now.

  My Dad pulled a 6:21 once at age 40. Back in the 1980s. He was pretty bad ass.
