I have to say, seeing doogs respond to this like it is a big deal is pretty entertaining. Also seeing national media people responding to the Shirley news like it is a big loss is funny too. -

Shirley has been hyped since he was a recruit. He did have 8.5 sacks as a freshman. It's been downhill since. I don't think Wilcox ever liked his one dimensional game. He's strong, but he's really undersized at DE and could only beat shitty tackles by running past them. In a lot of games, he was non existent. I still wish we had him. I think he has some talent and would have provided good depth in case Kikaha or another DE gets injured.
