US signals it is open to sending more troops to support NATO's mission in Iraq
(CNN) The Pentagon opened the door to the possibility of sending more American troops to the Middle East as part of a newly expanded NATO training mission to support Iraqi forces and ensure that ISIS does not rise again.
"The US is participating in the force generation process for NATO Mission Iraq and will contribute its fair share to this important expanded mission," Pentagon spokesperson Cmdr. Jessica L. McNulty told CNN. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin spoke about the mission with his NATO counterparts during a meeting with defense ministers on Thursday.

Are you going to enlist to go fight in the desert, Rambo? Nah, you are just going to pull out your Biden pom-poms like the Bush Chickenhawks as they send other people’s kids to die. Difference is they will at least profit from war. You’re stuck with making excuses for it.Duckwithabone said:

He didn’t have to run on it. He ran on returning competence to the White House and in foreign affairs. Active membership in global organizations such as NATO among others is part of that deal. It’s what was voted for and again, most of us wanted to happen.RaceBannon said:

The real test of a foreign policy isn't whether the proponent went to Vietnam. We saw a Presidential candidate who fought there, and you girls smeared him.NorthwestFresh said:RaceBannon said:Biden is a draft dodger

Edit: And Duck is right, you hated McCain too.

Since when did tighty righties have a problem with politicians using privilege to get out of going to war. McCain was the last actual war veteran who embraced that role in the Republican Party and you all hated him.NorthwestFresh said:RaceBannon said:Biden is a draft dodger
