It sure seems to me that it was perfectly acceptable to refer to someone who graduated from Ranger School as a Ranger. Media thought it was okay, the Congress thought it was okay, hell the Army thought it was okay. What changed Dazzler? -

I was tested and invited to attend Officer Candidate School by the USN. I was not invited to the Naval Aviation program however, which had been my chief interest in pursuing the matter. I decided not to attend OCS. Those claims are all true.
