Center!

I sort of just want him and Kirkland to move on. They're fine but I also like the younger guys we have in the program more. I personally think Fautanu has the highest potential of anyone on our roster and he's currently our second string left tackle behind Kirkland.

Yeah, our OL did a good job keeping Morris on his feet but were atrocious in run blocking. Not sure if its the players or the coach but I'm not really that excited about him returning. I guess it means his backup will get another year of conditioning before having to be depended on as a starterlouism2wash said:I sort of just want him and Kirkland to move on. I like football players who don’t look like they play first base. In softball.

Like getting a 5* recruit
-
Why aren't you guys getting more excited about this? It's big news. Just as big as when Juan Garcia announced he would come back for a 6th year.
-
Juan was here for 8, not a lot of people know that.
-
Maybe he will figure it out like Coleman Shelton. Dude was a stud his senior year
-
I'll never forget where I was and what I was doing when Wattenberg announced he was returning for his Sr. season.

I think it's great that he is going to come back, I'm not sure that he is going to start but he is a good player, can play a number of positions and will be part of the rotation.

Just because they have higher potential doesn't mean they will play well right away. Wattenberg is whatever, but Kirkland is good, he's just adjusting to a new position. Kirkland coming back would be great for us. Older OLs are generally better, because they're still developing physically when they're coming in. OLs also benefit from continuity and chemistry. It's really not a position where you should be rooting for young guys to play right away, unless you're recruiting like Alabama.louism2wash said:I sort of just want him and Kirkland to move on. Just keeps Myles Murao on the pine longer. Dislike.

Mele was probably starting at center anyways. Murao probably wasn’t starting for another year or 2 anyways.Fear_Boner said:Just keeps Myles Murao on the pine longer. Dislike.

Bashing the coaches is fine but if we're gonna bash Juan Garcia....Fenderbender123 said:Why aren't you guys getting more excited about this? It's big news. Just as big as when Juan Garcia announced he would come back for a 6th year.

Yeah, from everything I read, Murao is still a ways away (which is understandable since he's a true frosh)RoadDawg55 said:

I don’t care. I think we? should always start someone named Jake and someone named Myles.
