I sort of just want him and Kirkland to move on. They're fine but I also like the younger guys we have in the program more. I personally think Fautanu has the highest potential of anyone on our roster and he's currently our second string left tackle behind Kirkland.

Yeah, our OL did a good job keeping Morris on his feet but were atrocious in run blocking. Not sure if its the players or the coach but I'm not really that excited about him returning. I guess it means his backup will get another year of conditioning before having to be depended on as a starter
I think it's great that he is going to come back, I'm not sure that he is going to start but he is a good player, can play a number of positions and will be part of the rotation.

Just because they have higher potential doesn't mean they will play well right away. Wattenberg is whatever, but Kirkland is good, he's just adjusting to a new position. Kirkland coming back would be great for us. Older OLs are generally better, because they're still developing physically when they're coming in. OLs also benefit from continuity and chemistry. It's really not a position where you should be rooting for young guys to play right away, unless you're recruiting like Alabama.
