they won 2 straight against detroit with the back end of their rotation and on saturday one of the worst lineups I've ever seen put together.
the term "that's baseball" may never apply more.

roaddawg I think you may be wrong on the schedule in June, it looks pretty soft to me.
    The Braves are tough.
The rays are collapsing and will most likely sell off half their team at the deadline
The yankees may be 29-27 but their offense right now sucks and they're -20 or something in RD.
The rangers same story as the yankees, expect better offense and worse pitching
The padres offense has reached 2010 mariners level of shittiness
The red sox, indians, and royals are all disappointing teams
You played it up as murderers row

Angels lead the Wild Card right now at 30-26

The Twins have the 3rd worst record in the AL at 26-29

We're approaching 60 games into the season and the league continues to rival Seven Win Steve's mediocrity. I'm sure that a couple of the 11 teams in that mess will fall off as the season goes along (and Tampa's inevitable getting their shit together). But at this point, it's really hard to imagine any team on that list running away and locking up a playoff spot.

Not saying that the Mariners are going to be one of those teams ... but they continue to drag themselves around at .500 despite many of us waiting for them to fall flat on their faces.

I'm not as sold as you are on tampa.
Between Archer, Ordorizzi, and bedard they aren't getting the pitching they usually get in the back end, and the hitting lacks punch. Matt Moore ain't coming back.
While teams have come back from 23-35 in the past at this point it's really tough to do

So the Rays are the Mariners of the AL East then?

I'm not sure what you mean. This year the mariners are better cause of their pitching. As organizations there is absolutely no comparison between the 2

I expected the AL East teams to be better. It's not that tough of schedule. We will see how it goes though.

I'm just confused that some seemingly intelligent Husky football fans actually take the time to talk Mariners Xs and Os. Confused and disappointed.

Why do you hate it when Doogs out themselves?
