Four of us WFH or on-line school 24/7 has me about to rent out a room locally for a month or two so my wife and I can swap out and get a break from each other and the kids once in a while. Kids do have a few friends they can visit which is nice but they like to be home. 3 women (two teen daughters) and me and that’s pretty much been it for 6 months now is a bit much, especially since we said goodbye to my 15 yo Choco Lab boy in April who was the only outdoors member other than me. -
I lost my dog too over Memorial Day
Still the worst thing in 2020 for me -

https://foxnews.com/health/birx-coronavirus-closure-wont-suffice-phase-pandemic
Welp we're going to need to come to your home now. Apparently the Vid also tells time. You are safe until 10PM then its the witching hour
Coronavirus-related closures of public places won’t stop virus spread in this phase of the pandemic, where at-home gatherings are contributing to cases, one White House official warned Thursday, according to a report.
The comments from Dr. Deborah Birx, coronavirus task force coordinator, came during a briefing with health officials in Chicago, shortly after the city’s mayor, Lori Lightfoot, announced new restrictions, per the Chicago Tribune.
Lightfoot announced new restrictions on Thursday over the next two weeks to tamp down on the virus spread. All nonessential businesses in Chicago now have a 10 p.m. curfew and alcohol sales stop at 9 p.m. Bars without food licenses are no longer allowed to serve customers indoors. The changes went into effect Friday.
However, the restrictions also extended to social gatherings; the mayor asked residents to refrain from gatherings with over six people and social gatherings of any sort after 10 p.m.
“What none of us want is even further restrictions as we move into the holiday season, impacting Thanksgiving, Hanukkah and Christmas traditions,” Lightfoot continued. “But that is exactly the path that we are on right now if we do not take heed..."
You know I'd hate to see anything happen to your business. Maybe I could help you keep it safe. We have a neighborhood protection group that you can pay a monthly portion of your income to

That could end up being the big story out of the debate. It was clear that Joe is Team Lockdown and the same "idiots" that Trump was talking about will have Joe's ear. Like BirxLoneStarDawg said:

Trump was fairly artful on calling Foochie a good guy that was wrong but hey we all make mistakes -

As much as HH is a tard, he’s got many friends also rooting for carnage so they can hide out forever and suck that government teet. We knew the US numbers were a bit cooked, timely to see Europe take off and remind us again that this virus isn’t partisan or respecting virtue signaling.RaceBannon said:

Trump landed major blows on how we can’t hide in our basement forever, super bad look for the elites to not have a pulse on that. -
Having the last debate cancelled because Slo Joe was scared to be on the same stage as Trump after Trump tested negative wasn't a good look. Then having Trump dominate the stage last night after surviving the death sentence that is the chi com crud definitely showed who is the Big Boss.

I think trump was c+ during the last debate, dude looked clammy and angry. And confirmed with how evasive he’s been with all the testing questions that week. Trump did a lot with his only debate.WestlinnDuck said:Having the last debate cancelled because Slo Joe was scared to be on the same stage as Trump after Trump tested negative wasn't a good look. Urgent update from Texas....
Cases are grimly surging to 50% of the first wave levels, (Un)fortunately deaths are in an inverse grim linear trajectory, and continue to purge down to less than 1/5th the peak levels 3 months ago. Give it another 3 months or 3 years tops if you’re hoping for another murder boner.
To put it in a grim perspective for you simpletons, 7% of daily deaths in Texas are of the apocalypticly grim Covid nature and 93% of deaths are of the precedented “nothing special” variety, especially to @BearsWiin.
Grim grim grim surge unrelenting grim unprecedented grim

I just got a question in from one of our simpleton listeners. Yes, testing increased 63% in early Oct, and yes test positivity rate has been pretty much flat. NO, you shouldn’t stop being alarmed, because CASES CASES CASES you idiot!LoneStarDawg said:Urgent update from Texas....

Now at 4.36% a week later 10/19 - 10/26 for positive tests. Local news is still talking about an increase in cases, but the numbers don't seem to indicate that.huskyhooligan said:

7 day rolling average positive tests is 3.4% per John Hopkins.
7 day rolling deaths is still less than 1.

7 day rolling deaths is 1. The state still doesn't have complete death data from a month ago! Cooking those books. -

Two new cases at my store. First cases since March. One had symptoms come on after working a shift and got a test. That was a week ago. Another yesterday. The Person had no symptoms, took a test for precautionary reasons. Boom! Covid! Now we will get a bunch of folks probably getting tests out of fear and some of them too will undoubtedly test positive. When they shut my store down for asymptomatic outbreak reasons it will be truly special. Fear, fear, fear. I saw my coworker pull up next to me in the lot today with her mask on.
