If there were some good evidence that masks worked and if the state would evenly enforce the mandate but there is mixed evidence and the state has rules for me but not for the rioters. The assumption with the science is that people wear their masks properly at all times.
If you're not afraid to leave the house, do an experiment today and observe the amount of mouth breathers pulling there masks down to talk, getting them stuck on their lips and nose, putting their fingers in their mouth and face to readjust, then take their newly moistened finger to the keypad or door.
Without getting into what masks work and don't, there is an objective argument, outside a lab with shitty human application, masks are more harmful than not.
I wear one if the business asks me to, but let's not pretend this isn't a clown show.

I'm seeing more of the N95 masks with the ventilator cap. Let's moist air out and filters the new air in. Commentators say that this isn't protecting the public. But it does provide better protection for the user. Karen's will need to get this mask banned and get back to using those super efficient cloth masks.

I agree. I walk into a restaurant and I have a mask. But when I sit down, I don't. I've been eating out a lot and I've been doing this. I guess they are spreading people out with space between tables and shit. But still, I agree it's a head scratcher.
