61% lower consumer cost sounds like a good deal to me. Plenty of opportunity for $ to pay for it and repay the tax payers with interest. What am I missing? i'll listen.RaceBannon said:
It doesn't scale. I it did you'd know it. Berkshire gets all sorts of tax breaks and government graft and they still can't make anything worthwhileBaseman said:
I'll post this again.WestlinnDuck said:Chicoms are putting out twice the CO2 as the US. Our CO2 output is decreasing and the US hasn't built a new coal plant in years. The chicoms CO2 output is increasing and they are building dozens of new coal plants with little emission controls. But Trump and America is the problem according to our watermelon green gaia religionists who would put their eyes out with a spoon before criticizing the commies.

Saves $ in the long run. Double down, make it happen and export our stuff. We can pay for it with a higher tax on power that still saves you and I $. Big oil will scream. Fuck them. Everything I'm proposing has a capitalist view. Simplistic but there are ways to get things done with some cooperation.
Just imagine how many wind mills it would take and what that would look like and how to manufacture and send around the country. It doesn't make sense or cents. Higher taxes on energy fuck poor people. Oil companies pass taxes along to the user. This is magic bullet shit not public policy
Let's try this instead

I agree, eliminating farting cows, the major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions and fast airplanes isn't feasible, nor should it be.RaceBannon said:

That said, renewable energy in the long run is cheaper and offsets current emissions.

How much methane is released each year into the atmosphere geologically?
What is the exact level upper limit of release of ‘safe’ methane levels? -

Got it -
Wind and solar don't save money in the long run. It they did, then we wouldn't need government mandates that utilities build them and we wouldn't need huge government tax subsidies. I know that when you say stupid things that you actually believe them. There is no power when the wind doesn't blow or the sun doesn't shine. That means you need reliable baseload and your current choices are gas plants, coal plants and nukes. Batteries are way to inefficient and spendy. They also require a huge amount of toxic chemicals. The whole green new deal is a toxic expensive fraud. Why are the chicoms building coal plants if solar is cheaper? Why are the Germans?

What difference does it make? It's cheaper. Plenty of desert east of you. Windmill up, I say.RaceBannon said:
