So when you said Adams had “proven himself as a position coach” you meant he proved he sucked?Tequilla said:
In case you didn’t notice ... the fact that Adams was our 3rd best position coach by default was not my way of making a ringing endorsement -

Adams is viewed as a good coach by many in the coaching community and former players like Cooper Kupp
I also 100% agree that there was a shit storm last year and he deserves a lot of heat for that
The fact that he’s arguably the 3rd best position coach is a major problem -
Terrible pod. Bunch of smug narcissists shouting over one another.
Part of me wants UW to go 0-12 so these guys will all have strokes. -
Glad to have contributed “yellow piss” to HH

I cringe anytime Cooper Kupp is used as an example for Adams being a good coach. He would have been good anywhere and has been good for a bunch of coaches. Dude is a pro bowler and he’s probably just getting started. I wouldn’t be shocked if he led the NFL or was right near the top in all receiving categories this year. Adams was there his freshman year then left for Boise.Tequilla said:

He’s not close to being our third best coach until the WR’s do well. He really doesn’t have a great track record. Eastern was an offensive powerhouse before and after Adams. Then he was at Boise State, then Eastern Kentucky. I hate him until proven otherwise after last year. -
He can recruit well (so far).RoadDawg55 said:

But is he responsible for the offense we ran? No.
Or the rotations? I’ve heard mixed messages about what Pete controlled and what he let his assistants manage.
My default is to blame the head coach. Not some 1st year assistant. As long as he keeps hauling in 4* (and hopefully 5*) WRs, he’s fine. If he’s not fine, he’s still pretty low in the list of problems. -

I don't think we really know much.
The one data major point against Adams IMO is that Fuller and Baccellia both seemed to regress last year.
But everything in the program regressed last year from morale to strength and conditioning to development so who the hell knows. -
Looking for good comments in this thread

I don’t think they regressed, just showed that when they needed to step up they showed who they are.dnc said:

Baccellia maybe.FireCohen said:

Fuller never had the drops his entire career like he did as a senior in the Cal and Stanford games.
It's not like those were huge games.
Best explanation might just be going from Browning's arm to Eason's.
