Interesting timing to offer Jabez. We only graduate one WR next year (Chin), although a couch sale or two is likely. So taking more than 3 WRs would be weird. But of course Emeka and Franklin are takes no matter what, and it sounds like both will be waiting awhile to commit. And they're both too good to be pressured to commit to save their 'spot'.
Theoretically we view Junior > Jabez since we offered him first. Do we take the commit of one of them? Both? Is Jimmy going to more liberal with non-commitable offers to in-state kids?
I guess it doesn't matter because if Emeka and Franklin want to commit you don't really worry about numbers, and it seems unlikely we get both. Might as well get the in-state kids in the class early. Especially since the California WR class doesn't seem all that great outside of Franklin and Beaux Collins, pretty rare to only have offered two California WRs at this point.
Fuck it, I guess I've talked myself into it. I don't like either as much as any of the WRs we took in '20, but it could just be a down year. And there's value in getting Sam's teammates and loading up on in-state kids. -
I would love it if they could convince Clay Millen as to come in as a grayshirt...even if he assumed baby Huard will succeed then he plays as a freshman and leaves early which gives Clay a 2 year starting window if he wins the job afterwards.proof said:

And if his brother gets stuck behind Tyler Shough and as an "or" to Butterfield I don't think Oregon will look that attractive to him.

There will be a couch sale or two before this season even begins. Ty Jones, Osborne, Spiker, Chin... Very possible only 1 or 2 stay. I agree that both Kennedy kids are underwhelming. Would be interesting if they would get offers if they didn’t play for Huard and a team that hucks the ball around. Both without Franklin and/or Egbuka would be really shitty. -
