But regardless, all that’s relevant now about Biden is what Daddy knew and intended. Neither Biden can provide relevant information about that. Bolton can. Mulvaney can. Daddy can.
In Daddy’s case, attaching the stigma of an investigation to Biden was far more important than whether anyone really did the investigation.
Biden’s actions regarding the Ukrainian prosecutor had been in the public record by August 2016 at the latest. Daddy could have had his DOJ look into it from day one. (Maybe they did and decided there was nothing to charge Joe with.). Daddy waited until Joe emerged has his chief rival to demand that a foreign country ANNOUNCE an investigation as a condition of receiving Congressionally approved aid. I’m sure he can explain it all in his testimony—his reputation as a deponent precedes him.
