Greatest Frontman in Rock History (no guitar players) Pole

Considerations...
1- Rock only
2- No guitar players (e.g., Cobain, John Fogerty, Metalica dude)
3- No primarily solo acts- e.g., David Bowie

Mick JaggerJagger and it's not even close...

Freddie MercuryObjectively it's Jagger, but I just don't enjoy the stones.
-
Fuck-off, the obvious choice isDaltry and Plant
Tie -
Robert PlantI scoff at your inclusion of Ozzie. I scoff I say.
Plant or Mick. I'd take either. Daltry is in there, but I think there's never been anyone like Plant or Jagger. Giants of their craft. -
Bon ScottIt's Jagger, but you can bet your ass I voted for Bon anyway.
-
Mick Jagger
He was the biggest thug of the bunch.dflea said:It's Jagger, but you can bet your ass I voted for Bon anyway.

Mick JaggerFreddie had the best set of pipes, although I don't like the Queen shtick that much and fine them overrated.
Daltrey was the most gifted athletically and was doing the curly blonde haired thing was before Plant.
But Mick was first by a long shot. He was the first rock guy to rip off the James Brown moves and be a showman. All rock frontmen are derived from Mick. -
Jim MorrisonHaste maketh waste: Please be Changing my vote from Morrison to Plant (Love ya Jimbo)

Even my mod magic can’t fix the ballot box. Jim is tied with Daltrey for 2nd.Baseman said:Haste maketh waste: Please be Changing my vote from Morrison to Plant (Love ya Jimbo)

Fuck-off, the obvious choice is
Axl Rose.
Wins pole rather easily:
I mean its a sweatpants shorts boner.
Honorable mentions not on the list:
Sebastian Bach - Skid Row
Vince Neil - The Crue
Dee Snider. ha ha I actually love Twisted Sister. There's a documentary about how they couldn't get a record deal despite selling out show after show in the tri-state area for like 7 years.
Oderus Urungus - GWAR (I don't remember him playing a guitar, just using an axe to re-kill Jerry Garcia) -
Fuck-off, the obvious choice isSteven Tyler as well.
-
Fuck-off, the obvious choice isAnthony Kiedis

Mick Jaggerto me it has to be Jagger because of his endurance and how many generations he's been able to overlap.
Jim Morrison is my favorite but I get that a lot of people don't find the (warrior) poet angle very appealing; I happen to like his storytelling shtick, though.
The others on the pole list are amazing and most have at least one thing better than Jagger (voice, for example), but man, Mick Jagger has just been able to get relevant to so many different generations in so many ways despite his face...purely impressive. -
Fuck-off, the obvious choice isfrontperson - blondie you sexist SOB

All solo artists have a backing band...
For example...
Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band
Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band
Smokey Robinson & The Miracle
Paul McCartney & Wings
David Bowie & Spiders From Mars
Prince & The Revolution
James Brown & The Famous Flames
This is a different dynamic than a REAL "band" which is more of a group of co-equals. There's no Mick Jagger & The Rolling Stones or Don Henley & The Eagles.
