I alluded to my personal ranking system, so I figured I'd post it again. I know other people have different views.
My rating system is something like:
1 - never played, or only played in garbage time and generally sucked - Yankoff
2 - played a bit, maybe some spot starts, but never held down a full season and/or generally was below average when on the field - Wellington
3 - started a year or two and likely contributed another year or two, but generally pretty average - Hilbers
4 - multi-year starter, above average for at least a year, likely with some postseason honors like Pac-12 1st or 2nd team - Harris
5 - multi-year starter that was above average for multiple years. Made lots of splash plays and/or won a significant award like the Morris Trophy or was an All-American - Nobody met this level for me, but think Budda Baker -
TYFYS. Beautiful work as always.
Also, Myles Rice left early? I thought he was just a JR this year. Don’t remember seeing that he was portaling but have been traveling a lot the last month. -
He walked with the seniors, so I assume he's gonezo.DoogCourics said:TYFYS. Beautiful work as always.

Doogiest doog award. So be it.
Still the weakest JCCPCCIR since it was started -
Good work, Woof.

To my defense I’m on the downward part of my cycle and so I really want to kill someone.
Both Bryant and Adams had a full point deducted for dicking out on the team for the bowl. This doesn’t sit well with me so get off my lawn.
Edit: be it crap offense, coaching, or injuries; neither ended as well as I feel they could’ve. -
The thought is it might be illuminating to see how the average tracks over the years mostly disregarding players who never actually played.Woof said:
I'm not sure what you're getting at here. This is rank order if that helps.Emoterman said:Is there a simple/easy way to weight the results by playing time?

Thanks Woof. Great job!
Hilbers should have been 4* you fucking nincompoops. He's good. -
Ahmed was a 2 for me since he massively underwhelmed. I suppose he deserved a 3 on the basis of how he performed but he was supposed to be a super stud and wasn’t.
Harris I gave a 3 because I thought he regressed some this year, but he probably deserved a 4.
